Spring or Fall?

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

The temperatures for our area stayed warm until after midnight this morning but then the heat started dropping like a rock. By the time we woke at 8:00 this morning the temperature was down to 52 F (11 C) and would struggle to get to 59 F (15 C) for the afternoon high.

After breakfast and our morning reading we thought that today would be the best day to get the laundry cleaned before we leave on Thursday. While I busied myself with the laundry Kathy was imitating the Ever-Ready Bunny cleaning anything that showed signs of dust on it in the apartment.

Between the wash and dry I sat out on the balcony with my rotary grinder and modified the License Plate Cover for the front of the truck. I’d barely finished the modification when Kathy served an early lunch. Since certain foods are restricted from us bringing across the International Border (the list constantly changes) Kathy uses up what’s in the fridge to prevent any waste.

I made it back to the laundry room just as our dyers were shutting down. As I was folding the clothes a comment that was made last week about showing photos of my folding technique came to mind. Unfortunately I didn’t have the camera with me but I thought a picture of the finished product would do.

While Kathy readied the clothes she’ll bring to the trailer I went outside to install the License Plate Cover on the truck. The Weather Network showed the temperature was indeed 59 F (15 C) but with the north wind that was gusting as high as 25 mph (40 kmh) it felt much colder.

I managed to get most of my clothes packed but will finish it before bedtime tonight. For supper Kathy made a wonderful salad and baked a sweet potato to go with the Pacific Salmon Fillet that I was grilling on the Weber Q. Because of the cooler temperatures I needed to keep the grill on medium heat to stop the flame from blowing out.

Since we didn’t go back to the trailer today we’ll be very busy loading everything we are bringing with us, cleaning the mess that I needed to make while making repairs and running errands and returning some left over wood that I didn’t use.

Kathy and I would like to welcome our newest blog follower PatrickA51. However for nearly two weeks I have not been able to find more information on our followers due to a problem with Google. Each time I click on a follower the list closes up. If I can find a resolve to this problem I will be certain to give everyone a proper Shout Out. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
