Some Progress and a Setback.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

No it didn’t rain last night while we slept and there definitely was no full moon but we both slept in until nearly 8:30 this morning. This is more springtime weather and when you walked out of the building you almost wished it was warmer for those first few minutes.
Kathy in Tarpon Springs Florida in January.
After calling Vehicle Venture this morning to verify our replacement Toneau cover was in we drove the truck out to have it installed. I first dropped Kathy off with her healing foot at the Lowes across the street so we could walk around and see what was new in the home remodeling world. Once I had dropped off the truck I joined her in her slow explorations of all the aisles. We did purchase something today that even though was not on any list we had talked about this past winter. They had a newer more advanced NOAA weather radio on sale for less than we had paid for our old one. Since ours was over ten years old and seemed to be alerting us after the fact of storms in our area which is not a good thing when we are away in the trailer. We agreed to forget the list rule for this time.

When we walked back to pick up the truck Vehicle Venture had waved the labor cost of the replacement because they had failed to realize that the part had not come in which was ordered June 18th the day before my surgery.

Back at the apartment when Kathy tried downloading Extended Health Care Coverage forms the computer just wouldn’t co-operate. I finally had to shut the Norton Firewall in order for her to accomplish such a simple task. When she was finished she shut her computer down completely and I happen to look at the Turbo Hub and saw the data transfer lights continuing to flash. In other words it was like the computer was still on line. Lately we had been notified that we were reaching our peak as far as usage was concerned and that was only after ten days into this month. When were in Florida we left our computers on all the time except on travel days and I post more pictures than I do now and we never used over 4.4 Gig of data on our Verizon Hotspot.

I was on the phone with Bell tech support for nearly an hour before they told me to take it back to where we bought it. We were at the Bell outlet at the Devonshire Mall for nearly an hour before being told the person that needs to check it isn’t in today.

We stopped at the Caboto Club on the way home where we used the door prize gift certificate that I had won at the fundraiser dinner supporting the Veterans. There was over twenty different choices to choose from. Our wood-fired pizza tasted delicious and we’ll definitely be back there to try out some other choices.

The weather is supposed to be messy tomorrow so like every other day we’ll just have to see what we’ll be up to. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
