Stupid Computers and Visiting.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We watched the 11 o’clock news last night before going to sleep. Surprisingly I slept until shortly after 7:00 this morning but since my back wasn’t telling me to get moving I just laid there watching Kathy sleep. Just before 8:00 she slowly woke and we just lay there talking for awhile longer enjoying the peacefulness of the moment and one another’s company.
Having bagels and coffee for breakfast we continued discussing what we wanted to do today as we reviewed the forecast being presented on the Weather Channel. Our next step brought us to the computers where we read our E-mails and the morning blogs we follow. There were a few bloggers that were having fun others that were wishing that they were still on the road. Others were dealing with problems with their RVs and others dealing with problems with their computers. When Kathy read that she reminded me of a few problems that she was having with her PC.
I made a quick phone call and talked to both Sheryl and Ernie who were going to a surprise birthday party this afternoon so we changed our plans of going to visit. Sounds like RVing having your plans written in Jell-O because it’s flexible.
Minnie, Tyler, Matthew and Mickey.
Kathy went to the dining room where she started wrapping more of the Christmas Gifts that we’d purchased yesterday while I sat at her desk and tried everything that I could think of to make those programs work but it just wasn’t happening. At this point I thought that I’d check her Laptop to make certain those programs were working on it. I wasn’t that lucky so here I was removing and reloading programs back and forth between the two computers. By the time Kathy called me to stop for lunch I had the laptop working the way it was supposed to but the PC seems to be dead set against running the same programs we have on all our computers.

After lunch we headed out to the Dollar store for a few supplies and then we went to another store (Name Withheld) store where we continued with our Christmas shopping. Since it is only 171 Days left we don’t like getting caught short of time.
Matthew, Tyler and Kathy enjoying Florida's Liquid Sunshine.

From there we headed over to Kathie and Ross’s for a short afternoon visit. Ross is also just recovering from having hernia surgery and this coming week Kathie is having knee surgery done.
We headed back to the apartment where Kathy was quick to cook up spaghetti for supper. Once we’d washed the dishes we soon headed out to our daughter Karen’s for our Sunday night weekly visit. Karen and Greg were watching America’s Funniest Videos so we joined them and still got to visit throughout the commercials. On our way home we stopped at the Dairy Queen for a little snack to cap off our day.

Tomorrow Kathy has an appointment with her Cardiologist and then we’ll have time to fill in. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
