Working Together on Dumb Computers

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We were both awake before 8:00 this morning with not too much planned. We enjoyed our coffees with toasted bagels this morning while we watched the Weather Channel. Other than a few water puddles in the parking lot we were really surprised to see a short video clip of the Windsor area showing a severe thunder storm that we had early this morning.
Since the Heat Index was supposed to top the century mark again today we settled in to work on a new page that we’ll be adding to our blog post. Kathy spent the afternoon yesterday creating it and we spent the morning refining it so we made valuable use of our time.
After lunch I tried a number of different things on my computer so that I’d be able to post our blog with it. I even tried turning the sensitivity of the firewall back a few times on the new Norton 360 program that I recently installed with no luck. Finally I just wanted to chill out a bit and actually played a few games of Mahjong.
I checked my E-mails and chuckled after receiving a message from Marsha Weaver from Where's Weaver telling us Paul was in the back yard build an Ark because they have gotten rain every day for the last fifteen days. Since we live just north of Lake Erie and they live in Ohio she asked if we wanted them to pick us up. It just seems everywhere you look in the world seems to be flooding or having wildfires. With Kathy and I living on the second floor of our building it will have to rain harder before we have to worry but Thanks for the offer. By that time Kathy had made a wonderful Asian side salad to go with the Delissio pizza she had put in the oven and because of the salad we still have pizza to enjoy for lunch tomorrow.
Once the dishes were finished we headed out to Amherstburg for our Wednesday night visit with our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa. On our way from Tecumseh we always drive the secondary highways and were amazed at how much standing water there was in the farmer’s fields. We also drove by Sun Parlour Trailer and saw our trailer had been put back in the yard while they wait for the Last piece that Keystone didn’t ship with the rest of the parts. As usual we always have lots to talk about when we visit the kids. Melissa may be a grown adult but keeps us in stitches when she acts like the grand children would.
On the way home we had a few Ominous looking clouds that chased us all the way back to Tecumseh. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

We're still using the laptop
to post the Blog.
