Back to Amherstburg and Howard Avenue.

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy and I both had a rotten night's sleep again last night. She kept thinking about our travels and I kept thinking about modifications I need to make to the trailer before we hit the road again. We haven't got Hitchitch too bad do we? The strange part is once we're on the road you could blow up a bank next to us and we wouldn't wake up. As soon as we're home we spend sleepless nights thinking of travelling.

This morning after breakfast Kathy had an appointment at her new Dentist in Amherstburg. Our old Dentist Frank retired after having been Kathy's dentist for over thirty years. He used to ask us if we missed work and what we were doing to pass our time and was amazed the way we mapped it all out for him. We are hoping that Frank will now be able to enjoy himself in retirement.

On our way back we stopped in our old neighbourhood to have lunch at Sir Cedric's Fish and Chip Shop. We had a chance to talk to Anne who has waited our table many times over the years. We talked of our trips last year and what our plans for this and next year are as she was genuinely curious and happy for us.

After lunch we headed over to Penningtons for Kathy to continue her search for some clothes that she needed to replace. After some success there we headed over to WalMart and she was able to finish her shopping by combining the purchases from yesterday and today to make it all work.

Once we got home and back on the computers I was noticing many blogs complaining about Bloggers new Two Word Verification. Many people are now stating that they have disabled it on their sites because they felt the words were sometimes too difficult to decypher so people were no longer leaving comments. Our post is one of the many with the verification disabled because we were having trouble leaving comments on other people's blogs.

I have been experiencing many other problems. There has also been many occasions that it takes way too long for a site to open up. Other times a site is about to open and will minimize itself to our toolbar and we only opened it or it will start to open and shut down and close our post at the same time. Another thing is being able to read someones complete post with no pictures showing until you leave them a comment about it and then they appear. My computer is connected by an Ethernet Cable and we have Highspeed Internet. I have even double checked the setting of our Firewall so I know it is not at my end. I'm sure many of you would also have some stories about problems you're having with Blogger.

Hopefully the winds will slow down tomorrow so I can go do some measurements at the trailer. I needed to get some of my projects put together so I can assemble them all when Spring starts in another 32 days. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.

  1. Maybe a coupe of nights in the 5er would get you caught up on your sleep.
