After watching a movie that ended at 11:00 last night, my Hip/Leg did not like that I had sat for so long. The only thing I could do to fix that was to add an Extra Strength Tylenol to my Nighttime Mickey. I remember turning on my side after laying down and then waking to Sunlight seeping past the Blinds. Looks like I’ll be repeating that again tonight.
With Plans to attend a Barbecue this afternoon, the first thing I did was to check the Hourly Forecast and Radar. It looked like we could expect some Rain later in the evening.
Most of our day was spent on the Computers. As we readied ourselves to leave we noted darker Clouds coming in from the Southwest, which we’d seen on the Radar earlier this morning.
Taking the Expressway across the City it appeared the dark Clouds we’d seen earlier, had headed further North. Driving through LaSalle the only thing that was strange to us were buildings that didn’t exist when we lived there. When we reached Amherstburg, we thought it strange that all the vehicles at the Dealership appeared to have just been washed with water all around. As we drove down the street there were puddles along all the curbs.
Reaching our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa’s we gathered inside, because they were worried about the threat of heavy Rain. Kevin had seen the forecast and grilled everything just before we got there. He’d seen dark Clouds while he was outside but was able to stay dry the entire time. They were not surprised at hearing of the streets, less than a Quarter Mile from their home.
That
was not a Meal
but a
Feast of
seasonal foods they had made in preparation to our arrival. This also
gave us a chance to visit like we used to always
do.
The
last time we were there was for the Family
Christmas Celebration
on Boxing
Day.
We
all had our laughs because most everything is fair game. We
definitely have to get together again before August.
Thanks
Guys.
Heading North on our way home we had about Fifty Raindrops on our windshield. As we merged East on the Expressway it all cleared up, but the Clouds were following. I dropped Kathy at the front entrance before parking the Car. We both made it inside, as dry as when we left. Kathy later saw Lightning through the Balcony Door and we are hearing more Thunder as I write our Blog.
Lots of things to get straightened around tomorrow.
