Waiting For Good News.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Still thinking of how to fix my new laptop I spent most of my sleeping hours last night awake actually working on it while Kathy slept soundly in bed in the other room. I finally fell back to sleep just before 8:00 this morning only to be jumping out of bed less than an hour later. It was another dreary looking day with a slight drizzle that fell while we had our breakfast. Today we needed to be up early as we’d received another notification yesterday informing us of minor work that was to be done as early as 9:00 this morning. As mentioned in past posts the new owners of this building has been busy doing an assortment of different improvements to our building. Today we would have to wait until just after 11:30 when the workers came to install insulated Air Conditioner Covers which took less than five minutes to accomplish. Those would have been more useful last fall when the temperatures we just starting to drop.

Once lunch was over we drove out to SX Video in Essex to see if they could straighten out the new computer for me. Dillon was off sick with a flu bug so I left it in Zak’s capable hands. Now I know that if it can get fixed it is at the right place. Since it was right next door Kathy and I went into the No Frills grocery store to see what they had that we needed. By the time we left we had two insulted grocery bags full of money saving bargains.

Instead of driving directly home we drove over to Guardian Storage to pick up our mail. We also stopped at Princess Auto to check if they had wall mount television brackets in stock for our son Kevin. I was quite surprised on the different styles they had and they were priced well below any other store in the area.

Back at the apartment we busied ourselves doing some cooking and baking. While at the No Frills we found some nice looking Corned Beef on sale and some fresh cabbage to go with it. I was on chopping detail while Kathy busied herself boiling the meat and then the cabbage. When the meat was done I was again busy chopping while Kathy was busy sautéing the cabbage and slowly adding the chopped meat. While she continued with that I was busy baking a cake so we’d have a snack for the next few days.

After supper I finished making the icing for the cake and putting a generous helping of leftover Corned Beef and Cabbage into the fridge. Hoping to get positive results back about the laptop tomorrow otherwise it’ll have to be returned. I hate not being able to add pictures to our post and this old laptop just can’t do it. With just over six weeks until we start our Fulltiming Adventure we only want to see things moving forward. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

The "Let's have a meeting before the meeting" Person

Hopeless, useless, pathetic are just some of the words to describe this individual.

Their philosophy on life is to not make decisions unless someone or something is on life support.
