I was on the computer by the time Kathy woke this morning. It was still cloudy from the rain we had last night but there was little wind. The weather channel said the temp was above freezing but the wind chill was below. Because of yesterday's rain working on the patio would have more then doubled my shoe size so working on the trailer seemed more logical.
Shortly after lunch we headed over to the storage yard to work on the trailer. The temperature had risen slightly but the wind had increased as well. The objective today was to take more measurements for extra shelving that we wish to create, bring home the bed linens for their spring washing and to finish installing the new drawers in the rear bedroom.

As long as we worked inside of the trailer we were cool but not cold. If you were outside the wind went right through you and chilled you to the bone. If you were on the shaded side of the trailer it felt like you were freezing. Tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same kind of weather thank goodness it's only 60 days until Summer so it might warm up. I also have to continue getting these projects completed because Kathy and I are starting our travels in 43 days. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
You might be a Redneck if
You've used a bathtub as a punch bowl.
That reminds me of the cold weather I grew up in Detroit. Like you said, it would go right through you.
ReplyDeleteIt's been absolutely (absolutely) gorgeous in the Pacific NW. Love the sunshine and beautiful spring weather.
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been nice for spring. Good luck in your travels.
ReplyDeleteI think spring just teased us a bit then went hiding. Those biter winds sure cut right thru you! Soon warm we hope!
ReplyDeleteLove the RV mods you worked on. Any day doing fun fixes to the RV, is a day not wasted! LOL

The clothes drawers are a better idea than media drawers. We plan to convert our our pull-out hamper area into two shelves for camera equipment or two drawers for clothes ... haven't quite decided yet.
ReplyDeleteGuess I'm dense, what does " Because of yesterday's rain working on the patio would have more then doubled my shoe size..." mean?
