For the second day in a row the Weather Channel is predicting rain. After yesterday's rainy forecast that didn't pan out not only were the local farmers starting to worry but so was I. For the farmers they need the rain to help their crops that were planted last fall to germinate and start to grow. With the lack of snow this winter they are definitely in need of rain. For me I need the rain to soften the hard clay where I am making the firepit patio for our daughter.
Today was also laundry day so while I was doing that Kathy was busy giving eviction notices to all the dust that has been coming through the open windows. With the mild weather we have been having the last few months it has been warm enough to let in the fresh air but it also brings in the pollen and dust which makes Kathy's allergies almost unbearable.
Had to call our Satellite provider again this afternoon. Even after 4 months they are still adding extra charges on our bill that shouldn't be there and we don't let them get away with it. The problem is that even though you straighten it out it takes another month before seeing the refund. In the meantime it cuts into your monthly budget.
It must be Spring because the rain that was predicted to start this morning finally started after supper for an hour before turning to a drizzle. That will make the farmers and myself happy. It is also 61 days until Summer making it only 44 days until we're on the road to adventure again this year. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Krackers
Why did the turtle cross the road?
To get to the shell station.
We have to look at our cell phone bill pretty close too. We've seen too many little extras on it.
ReplyDeleteI love your countdown!
ReplyDeleteYes the rain was nice but why did it have to get so cold? brrr......
ReplyDeleteWe could use more rain in Wisconsin.. things are so dry because we didn't get enough snow this past winter to add to the water table. Burn bans on in a lot of areas too.
