Happy Thanksgiving Wishes

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It seems that my sleep issues teeter back and forth from one day to the next. Last night after only spending Two Hours in my Recliner, I spent the next Six in Bed. When I woke this morning, though I was wide awake, my eyes took a while longer to catch up.

Breakfast was back to Cereal as a way to keep balance to our diets. Once we'd taken our Coffees to the Computers, one of the first things I did was to call our Credit Card Company. After explaining that the account had been paid yesterday, I was wanting a Confirmation. The answer was not what I wanted but have experienced in the past. If you make a charge to your Card it shows up instantly, but if you make a payment it takes Three to Four Business Days for it to appear. The worst time to make a payment is the end of a week, because it won't show until the next week. Hopefully I will see it by Friday.

Today's high temperature of 50 F (10 C) hit shortly after midnight and has continued to cool down the rest of the day, thanks mostly to the 46 MPH Westerly Wind Gusts. I believe that I have mentioned how our Balcony Railing rattles at half that speed. Then add the fact that when the New Building Management Company took over, there was a Privacy Panel placed between neighbouring apartments that share a balcony. They attached it to the deck but not the center railing for support. All day long we have listened to the railing and panel beating on one another, similar to the sounds heard in a fabrication shop. This Wind is not going to let up until next week. We may need to wear Ear Plugs to be able to sleep.

With the Wind blowing so hard, Kathy wasn't in the mood to go out yet would later open the Balcony Door to be certain our Bistro Set had not moved. ??? Eight Floors up?

Due to lack of activity, lunch was only a couple of Cookies, a Yogurt Cup and another Coffee.

I don't know where she gets this information but Kathy read that we were forecasted to get 50 CM (20 Inches) of Sxxw. No matter what The Weather Network or the Radar showed, she believed we were going to get buried. What it said was Southern Ontario, but that is towards Toronto and Ottawa. We are the Southwestern part of Ontario, surrounded by the Great Lakes, that mostly protect us. After watching the "6 o'clock Local News", Kathy felt more at ease.

Around 7:00 we finally shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for supper as we watched a few episodes of "Mayday". No matter what, we have errands to run tomorrow.

Kathy and I would like to wish our American Family and Friends a Happy Thanksgiving.
