The Crud Was Easier.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

We again repeated our bedtime Mickie in an attempt to rid ourselves of our Congestion problem. Neither of us had any problem breathing the entire night but I could not sleep. Out of desperation I added and Extra Strength Tylenol to the mix and ended up sleeping soundly until 8:00 this morning.

It was only minutes later when Kathy joined me. Breakfast this morning was Toast with the Rhubarb Sauce that Kathy cooked up yesterday. It brings back memories of when we were growing up.

We both waited until mid morning to have a Day-Time Neo Citan when we both noticed an increase to our Congestion. Reviewing the Comments recently made to our Blog I was reminded of the Winter in Quartzsite we both got sick. Being more susceptible then me Kathy came down with the Crud and a week later I had it as well. Lets just say the Crud was easy compared to this and if we’d have had these medications with us it would have been like a Weekend Flu.

What it looked like during an Afternoon Thunderstorm.

It had been raining overnight so with the large puddles throughout the parking lot the only Contractor we saw today was the Supervisor as he slowly drove through. We look forward to when this will be finished but did not miss the sounds of those Jackhammers.

Kathy’s eyes caused her to blink and she was surprised to see me getting things ready for lunch. Since we are out of Chicken Noodle Soup we had Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch along with Grapes and a Yogurt Cup for dessert.

We spent most of the afternoon on the Computers. There was finally a Job Ad for me to apply for but every once in a while some kind of Error occurs preventing me from doing so. The only thing you can do is leave the site and try again later. It took four attempts before it worked today.

Neither Kathy or I are big on Pasta. Once in a while is not bad but lately I’ve been trying to use up an unintended stockpile. Once that is fixed we’ll have less in our meals. It was going well with the Stir-Fries I have been making but we wanted something different. Tonight by reheating the Leftover Stir Fry from last night it was served on Tortilla Wraps. They tasted great with less calories and carbs then Spaghetti would have been.

The 6 o’clock Local News reported more on the upcoming Provincial Election and the promises being made for the Windsor/Essex Region in particular.

The Weather Network showed we reached a high of 75 F (24 C). We should see cooler temperatures for a few days before we start seeing seasonal temperatures return.

I held off on making those calls today because of the Congestion. With another night of self-medicating I should be up to the task.

  1. Keep your pasta, there will be a shortage soon because of the Russian invasion.
