Chores, Exercising, Visiting, Dining Out and Cold Snap Heading Our Way.

I kept waking up feeling cold through the night because someone else needed my blankets to snuggle with. That of course meant that I had to sleep later this morning but we were still having a Lite breakfast by 8:30.
We made it a double cup morning while getting caught up on our Computers. Once our inside chores were completed Kathy started making lunch before 11:30.
Macaroni with Cheese, along with Tea Biscuits, Clementine
Oranges and Chocolate Pudding Cups for Dessert.
After asking if I was going to the Gym Kathy suggested she’d go visit with our Dear Friend Vera. After a quick call confirmed that she’d be home we both started getting ready to leave. I mentioned to Kathy about inviting Vera out for supper before she did. Vera was brought up that if she invited us that meant she would pay so we had to be certain she knew that we were paying.

I headed out first so that I could clean the Car and Truck from the accumulated flurries that started yesterday afternoon. I had both vehicles done and was in the process of changing the Truck’s Wiper Blades when Kathy made it to the Car. She headed off to visit with Vera while I headed for Planet Fitness.

With the Blowing Wind I was surprised how few people were there when I arrived before 1:00. It felt good being undisturbed throughout my routine which meant that I also got done quicker. The experts say you should take short breaks between the different exercises so I count the seconds it takes between each routine as my rest. The place was really starting to fill up by the time I left.

It was shortly after 4:00 while sitting in the Truck that I called Kathy’s Cell Phone to find her helping Vera straightening up some Bookshelves. They were surprised that I called so early. Since the Truck doesn’t fit too easily in some parking lots Kathy suggested meeting me at the Apartment where I could park the Truck before continuing on to the restaurant.

It was nearly 5:00 by the time we arrived at the Michigan Diner on Tecumseh Road East. There had been a large group being served just after we placed our order so it took some time for our meals to be ready but we had plenty to talk about to occupy our time. It was past 6:30 before we got ready to leave.

The Wind had picked up and this morning’s temperature had dropped over Twenty Degrees by before we got back to the Apartment. Kathy said that she and Vera had talked about all kinds of things while they visited at her Condo and had only started working on the Bookshelves minutes before I called.

Tonight’s overnight temperature will be dropping to -2 F (-19 C) feeling like -17 F (-27 C) so I’m hoping Kathy doesn’t snuggle my blankets tonight. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

Krackers

Q: What do you get when you drop a cup of tea down a rabbit hole?

A: Hot cross bunnies.

  1. I hear ya, Brad likes to roll over and take the blankets with him... I tell him to just lift them before he turns but I guess he's not really awake so it just never works for him.

  4. I am so glad you got to spend time with your friend and that Kathy could help her out in her condo.

Here I am whining because it was 39 degrees this morning and I was cold...you guys are really going to get cold!

I was wondering if the electric rates are cheaper in Canada or are they also heavily taxed in order to subsidize your health system?
