As mentioned many times in the past on this Blog both Kathy and I have Sleep Apnea which requires us to use CPAP Machines so that we continue breathing through the night. Another thing that I have also mentioned on this Blog that One of the Side Effects of Sleep Apnea is Insomnia and when one of us is tossing and turning trying to fall to sleep the other doesn’t get much rest. Last night was my turn and Kathy suffered the disturbed sleep.

We still managed to be up around 8:00 and since the Rain had barely stopped it was hard to see anything through the water splattered Windows. That was when Kathy told me to turn on our Blue Flame Heater to take the chill out of the Trailer. Even on its lowest setting it stayed lit for nearly Twenty Minutes before taking a break which meant it was cold.
A true sign of spring around here, the Canadian Geese are back.
After checking her Spreadsheets to see what was still to be wrapped Kathy had a good idea of how many more Gift Bags and Boxes that she would need for us to finish packing all the Christmas Gifts for distribution.
Since our breakfast had been simply a Muffin and a single cup of Coffee/Tea we decided to have an early lunch. In an attempt to get the chill out of our bodies there was only One thing that would do the trick. We had a nice bowl of Split Pea with Ham Soup along with Hot Cross Buns for fill and topped off with a Yogurt Cup for our dairy.
I had waited to take my Shower after lunch so I wouldn’t be worried about it tonight. It was while I was getting dressed that I heard some commotion coming from Mike and Pat’s site next door.
Kathy finished getting herself ready while I went out to talk to them. This was their first visit here for this season and they were there to set up and clean the inside of their Trailer. After seeing the inside of our Trailer they were not happy with their 2016 Mobile Suite. While we can simply walk in from outside and use the Washroom they can only do that by opening their slides. They are presently looking to trade it in on a Cedar Creek that has everything their Trailer has but with access to the upstairs without opening up the slides.
We were soon on our way to Windsor so that we could accomplish a few things before my appointment. Our first stop was Guardian Storage where after getting our Mail we drove back to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. It didn’t take long to find the Gift Wrapping Supplies we had stored there from last year. By using those it will mean less that we have to purchase.
Our next stop was Dollarama where we found exactly the type of Gift Bags that we needed. That particular store had been completely rotated inside giving it space to carry more merchandise.
The windshield gave a foggy affect to this picture.
We were still too early so we walked around Value Village but didn’t find anything that we needed today.
We finally drove over to VitalAire where we picked up our CPAP supplies that were waiting for us. There is more to come but it is on Back-Order.
We walked through the building and Kathy had a seat while I put our supplies in the Car. It was only minutes later that the doors opened and I was soon called in. Today I made my 116th Blood Donation at the Canadian Blood Services. While I was busy they made certain that Kathy had a nice hot cup of Tea.
Lots of water still in the fields. This one is not too bad.
It was past 4:00 when I finished up so Kathy suggested we have Taco Bell for supper. We both enjoyed one of their Combos including the Fries. As we ate we discussed what we accomplished and realized that we had forgotten some Gift Boxes.

We drove to two more Dollaramas but struck out so we drove to the West Side Walmart on Dougall. They didn’t quite have what we need but we can use what they did have and if we don’t use them all now they will work for other occasions.

It was after 7:00 by the time we had everything in the Trailer. We again had to turn on our Blue Flame Heater to warm up. As we were sitting at our Computers we were suddenly surprised when the Sun shone though a break in the Clouds. Since tonight’s low will feel like Freezing we’ll be keeping warm. I don’t want to Jinx it but we might even get some Spring-Like weather tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  2. A question about your climate control storage...how hot does it get in the summer that would require that? Sorry, I am new to Canadian blogs and I do not know why but I always thought it was cold or spring like year around. Need to be schooled.

    1. It can get very hot and very cold here in Ontario. Changes in temperature can damage furniture and other things stored in there. Climate controlled is the safest way to go.

  3. I keep waiting for your blog to say it's finally WARM!! There are so many different floor plans for rigs. It's hard to know just what you need and want until you stay in one for awhile. Luckily, my floor plan works for me, but if I gain much more weight, I won't be able to get by the table to the bed! LOL

    1. We fell in love with our rig because of the layout. Easy to get to bathroom and bedroom without pulling out the slides.
