It was cool enough last night that we left the Bedcover on to keep ourselves warm. I was out of bed by 7:30 this morning and managed to have all the Window Shades up and things ready for Breakfast before sitting down at my Computer. I remembered Kathy telling me that she had taken a Tylenol last night before going to bed so let her sleep longer than if we had plans. I was busy reading the last of the Morning Blogs by the time she finally came downstairs.
Flowers our daughter Karen gave to Kathy sitting on our Toadstool.
It was another Cloud covered day and watching people walking around for their morning stretch it was easy to tell that the cooler temperatures remained by the way they were dressed. As soon as we’d eaten we were back at the Computers long enough to drink our Coffee/Tea before moving on to other tasks. Kathy looked through the few Files that she keeps in the Trailer and wasn’t able to find the “Proof of Purchase” document that is needed to have our Propane/Carbon Dioxide Detector replaced under warranty. Unable to find it we’ll have to look the next time we go to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit.
We had Chicken Noodle Soup for our early lunch along with a Yogurt Cup and Cookies for dessert. Once we’d eaten I helped Kathy set up our Crock Pot to cook tonight’s supper.

Kathy busied herself Dusting and Vacuuming the entire inside of the Trailer. She wanted to get rid of the Desert Dust.
It was cool enough that I needed to wear my sweater to keep comfortable from the cold Northeast Wind. I was busy finally covering the Trailer Tires to protect them from the Sun while it is parked. Then it was a matter of laying on the ground to unfasten our Fresh Water and Waste Barrels from the rear of the Trailer on the Bicycle Carrier

I had just finished that when I had to empty the Vacuum Cleaner Canister for Kathy before beating the Two Carpets we keep under our Recliners to protect the Floor below them. Kathy also had me do a couple of quick repairs before I headed back outside.
Our Tandem Bicycle had a Flat Tire so I worked at removing the Damaged Tire then to find the Leak in the Tube. Strangely the patch would not stay glued in place so I figured that temporarily putting a new spare Tube would do the trick until I had more time to fix the original. The box still had the Cellophane around it but when I started to pump it with air it was split at the fold. Grabbing another Tube when I opened it it looked like it had been cut with Scissors. The last Tube I had in a beat up old box was perfect and did the trick.
Kathy came outside for a few minutes but didn’t stay long because the cold North Wind. I finished reassembling our Bicycle while Kathy went in to start serving supper. I had put everything away by the time she called me in to eat.
It wasn’t a Meal it was a Feast. Roast Beef, Carrots, Mashed Potatoes and Buttered Portobello Mushrooms and there is more for another couple of meals. Just when I thought that was enough food for the day Kathy brought out Strawberry Short Cupcakes for dessert.
That was too much and we needed to do something about it. After filling our Water Bottles we headed off for a Bicycle ride around the Park. We only managed to do half the Park due to our Full Tummies, the Headwind that seemed to be hitting us most of the time and the fact that we are Out of Shape from not riding for nearly Seven Months. We’ll just have to build ourselves back up.

Back Home we watched the movie “The Foreigner” starring Jackie Chan. That was one heck of a movie with nearly non-stop action. We gave it Two Thumbs Up.

Tomorrow will be a busy day with lots of errands and appointments. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  4. Glad that you got some projects out of the way. Supper looks delicious and yes good thing to wear some off. I can't bike on hills, but love a straight stretch on my little bike. Bill has a new tube for my tire and then I'll get out again.
