Sleeping without any heat source again last night felt wonderful because it was only our Body Heat that we needed for warmth. I still managed to be up at 8:00 but with Kathy continuing to fight that Bladder Infection she slept a while longer. With this being Easter Monday many businesses including Doctor’s Offices would be closed up so we weren’t in much of a rush to go anywhere. Looking outside we could see Golfers out on the Links but everyone was wearing Long Pants and Jackets.

We did our usual Lite Breakfast with a Muffin taking our Coffee/Tea to the Computers. Then we had a Lite Lunch with Chicken Noodle Soup.
Nice day but still cool.
Trees are starting to bud.
Kathy was busy doing some research while I gathered the Trash then brought it over to the Park Recycle and Waste Area. On my return I stopped in to the Park Exercise Room for a slight Workout which made me feel much better. Now I just have to keep at it every few days.

When I got back Kathy seemed to be doing some calculating at the table that was getting the better of her. When I asked she said “she was trying to calculate our time in the US for our 8840 Forms” that we have to figure out every year. Even though I tried to tell her I had set up her Computer to do that years ago it was not until I showed her that she started to relax. When we didn’t go south for the winter in 2015/16 she had forgotten all about it. With our 8840 Forms now all filled out we only need a Stamp to mail them to the IRS.
Supper was a bit more elaborate then the rest of our meals today. While Kathy made Perogies with Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese and Bacon Bits I was busy making Angel Food Cupcakes with Mixed Fruit Topping and Cool Whip.

Since Kathy has had the Infection most days have been filled with Rain or we have places to be with people to see so we haven’t done much walking. This evening we went for a short walk First over to our Seasonal Site to check how soft the area is. If we don’t get any serious Rain we might be moving this week without needing a Tow Truck. We truly want to get settled in for the season so we can get some chores completed. Then we walked down Fourteenth Street just to get more walking in.
Still water on a lot of streets.
Our Trailer is to the extreme right.
Back Home we cleaned up the Dishes before settling in to watch the movie “Zero Dark Thirty” starring Jessica Chastain as Maya one of the CIA Agents who worked tirelessly to locate the Compound where Osama Bin Laden was finally killed ending the hunt for the “Most Wanted Man in the World”. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Where are we going and why am I in this Handbasket?

  1. Sounds like a good day. I hope your site dries out so you can get settled in. At least it is warming up so that should help

  2. I'm surprised that it is still so wet and cool there, being southwest of us by 4 hours. We've had beautiful dry weather now for a couple of days. (soon to change again!)
Hope Kathy is soon better and it will be nice once you are on your site to settle in for the summer.

  5. We have soggy areas in our yard too. Not complaining when I remember how dry it was last summer. Kathy, take care of that infection.

  8. Sounds like a fairly relaxing day. Minus the filling out of the forms. Hope you site is dry enough to move into soon. I would guess the two of you are more than anxious to be settled for the summer. Hope Kathy feels better soon.
