Now We’re Talking.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Last night the Cold Wind was blowing the Rain from every direction imaginable so we had no choice but to close the Windows and Roof Vents. We still managed to sleep comfortably but when we looked out the Window this morning the Sun was shining. There were still plenty of clouds helping to move the air and keeping Flags unwavering.

After finishing breakfast and making one final unsuccessful attempt to get On-Line we knew what we had to do. The first call went to Verizon Tech Support asking about our being continuously Dropped and the Slow Speeds that would not connect to the majority of the Sites we needed to visit. Our Package had been listed as usable in the U.S., Canada as well as Mexico, but that was a lie. They gave all kinds of excuses all of which I quickly discounted. The Cell Tower is just outside this Park and is visible from the end of our street. We are using a Booster and our Computers were lightning quick on the McDonalds free WiFi. With only a few days left to this session it will be suspended at a minimal rate until we head south again in the Fall.

The next call was to Cable 1 and after only a brief conversation we knew that we would have a Usable WiFi Connection by the end of the day.

Trying to speak to anyone at the Credit Union was a waste of time. Everytime we were there last week they would set up our account but when we would Sign-in at Home the security questions were not the ones we had filled in. After leaving three separate Voice Mails today nobody returned our call.

Stephanie from Leisure Trailer called updating us on the status of our further repairs.

After having Soup for lunch Kathy busied herself rearranging the Kitchen Island Cabinet. When everything was being put back in the Trailer after it returned from Jayco it didn’t go back exactly the way it was working for us before. By the time Kathy was finished it was much easier to find everything.

I had my hands full doing the Laundry. It was past 4:30 by the time I returned Home with everything folded. Kathy had finished Dusting and was just putting the Vacuum Cleaner away when I arrived.

We both needed to sit for a bit so I turned on my Computer and immediately went On-Line via the Cable 1 connection. I had Kathy try her Computer and the same thing was happening. This is what a Fast Connection should be like.

We had Acorn Squash that Kathy cooked in the Microwave while I heated up some Precooked Spare Ribs on the Weber Q. It was all done to perfection and we could cut the meat off the bones with a fork.

We’ve got lots to do tomorrow so we’ll see what we actually do. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
