Cleaning Up For Next Week, Cowboy Nachos and More Snow Back Home.

Our Location today is La Posa South L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.

Even though the temperature got fairly cold last night, with the Sun shining brightly this morning by 8:30 it was a Balmy 45 F (7 C). We chose to have a lighter breakfast by having Bran Muffins as a way of cutting back. We even cut back by having only One Coffee/Tea while at the Computers to save time. We answered a few E-mails and Kathy checked our Accounts to be certain they were as they should be.
By 10:00 I was busy changing the Bedding. With everything that’s been going on they should be changed more often but we tend to get too busy and it gets pushed aside. That also meant we had other plans. Just because we live in our RV Fulltime doesn’t mean there aren’t regular chores that go with it. This is life being lived at a slightly different pace then what we used to do while raising our families. It’s also easier to do the Laundry now then it would while we are attending the Rally next week.
Last Week's picture of Cowboy Nachos.
With everything else sorted and stains treated we were out the door by 11:45 headed into Quartzsite. It wasn’t until we arrived that we realized we had forgotten the Camera back at Home. Having had a lite breakfast, with still more chores to do and the fact that they serve Cowboy Nachos on Thursdays at the Main Street Restaurant guess where we went for lunch. As I described it to Michelle some time back “It’s a Snack that serves as a Meal” and it tastes fantastic.

After finishing our meal, we headed next door to the Main Street Laundromat. It continues to be busy but a far cry from the crowds during January and the Big Tent. That was Insanity! There are quite a number of machines that were marked “Out of Order” but they were not the same machines as the last time we were there. It took just over Thirty Minutes to get everything from the Washers over to the Dryers because of the number of people there today. When the Dryers finished their magic Kathy and I worked together to fold everything so we could head for Home.

Back at La Posa South LTVA it didn’t take long to get the Bedding, Towels and Clothing spread out on the Bed. Once my Clothes was put away I took care of the Towels before Kathy did the same with her Clothes and the Bedding. We both have our chores and that’s what makes it work.

For supper we had Leftovers again, Leftover Lobster and Leftover Salad while watching the 6 o’clock News. Some areas back home are without Power and with the Rain they had earlier this week nearby areas could be Flooding. We also double checked the weather to see that our kids are getting between Six to Eight Inches more Snow tonight. It may be colder then it should be here in Quartzsite but we are glad we are here.

Tomorrow we have more to accomplish but we also have plans to meet with Fellow Bloggers for supper. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Getting the laundry done always makes feel good. Not a chore I enjoy.

Sounds like the Rally next week will be pretty big event. Hope you enjoy it.

You're right. We can't complain about the cooler weather we've had. It is nothing compared to the storms back home. Been a rough winter for them.

  4. Those cowboy nachos could be my downfall! Yum. Laundry, just one of those things that's gotta be done here and there. Nice that you work together to get it done, so do we. Enjoy the Rally looking forward to hearing about it. Is it a Jayco Rally?

  6. If you move to the Magic Circle there would be less laundry. Hahaha

Some serious flooding issues back in the Southern Ontario Region. A friend's post on Facebook showed at least one bridge being ripped apart and another one showed a large dump truck caught on another that had collapsed. Not a good time back there for sure.

    Enjoy the rally.

  7. Like you sad it may have been a colder winter here in the Southwest but it sure beats other parts of the world. I checked on my cousins tonight after saw the news they live on the east coast but far enough inland to not get all that snow and rain but sure are getting hit with the wind.
