Wind Down Day.

Our Location Today is Thermopolis, Wyoming, U.S.A.

Since we had a long travel day on Monday and we’ll be here until next Monday, Tuesday was deemed a relaxation day. We didn’t drive anywhere. We didn’t eat restaurant food. We didn’t worry about the time. It was great!
In the morning while I was posting the blog we sent our guest off to play in the pool. Kathy had plans to organize the fridge and started creating meals for the next few days so that they could be cooled and heated in minutes when it was time to eat them.
The Wifi connection was constantly cutting in and out causing me to lose repeated drafts as well as my train of thought on many occasions. My solution to that problem is to write the post on a word document until it was completed. I then copied and pasted the document once I was able to get on line. Once the text was saved as a draft to the post then I would continue to upload pictures until I would lose the connection.
Bill and Vera came back just before lunch totally invigorated and excited. Kathy was just finishing her cooking for the day so immediately made lunch for everyone. After almost an hour I was finally uploading the last of the photos.
After a delicious and healthy lunch Kathy and Vera cleaned up the dirty dishes and I showed Bill today’s post. With the dishes completed Bill and Vera decided to lay down for a short nap because they said the hot mineral water from the pool made them feel tired. Even Kathy said she could use a short nap as well.
Not to be a spoil sport I went outside to empty our trailer waste tanks. On the pull of the first lever that simple chore came to an abrupt stop when I saw leakage bubbling from the hose. Out came the rubber gloves and the tools and five minutes later the job of emptying and flushing tanks was back in progress.
It seemed I finished my job just on time as the sky started clouding over and the wind increased until the trailer was shaking enough to wake everyone up. Looking out the window we were watching a couple with their children trying to set up a dome tent while the wind was trying to do a re-enactment from the movie Mary Poppins. They finally got the ground pegs just in time for the wind to subside.
By that time it was supper time and because of Kathy’s earlier preparation it only took five minutes to heat and serve for a delicious Pepper Steak on Brown Rice dinner. Once the dishes were again put away we all headed back to the hot spring fed mineral pool.
Two hours later we decided we were all starting to feel tired and relaxed so we came back to the trailer. We sat talking outside for a short while as our swimsuits dried and then headed in for showers and a welcomed night’s sleep. Thanks for following along! Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. Don't you just hate it when your train of thought derails. Seems like every post I read discusses some internet issue. It still looks like you guys are having a great time though. Safe travels.
