Slow Hot Day

Todays Location is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada

We were up early this morning so we could bring our grandson Tyler to his Orthodonist. Our daughter Karen dropped him off on her way to work because his appointment wasn't until 8:50. It was a short drive down the street and he knew the drill that he had to do before seeing his Orthodonist. What surprised Kathy and I was this office had WiFi if you brought your computer or tablet with you. It had a couple of computers in a side room in case you just had to send a quick message to somebody. After the  kids sign in on a computer they have a room with new toothbrushes to clean their teeth before their appointments. Once they had cleaned up they could relax while waiting by going into a game room where they had E-games to play. They also had a play room for pre-schoolers. Talk about keeping the kids happy and relaxed.
Tyler's appointment took all of ten minutes and five minutes later we had him back at school. From there we stopped at the Credit Union for some quick banking needs. I needed to stop and make an appointment for my yearly physical check-up with my family doctor. Unfortunately since we just got back in town this weekend we were unaware that Construction Season in Windsor officially started yesterday. What should have normally been a five minute trip across town took almost a half hour. On our way home our route was free of any roadwork so our trip time was greatly improved. We stopped for gas for the car and were pleasantly surprised that the prices have come done slightly which helped ease the pain at the pump.
Since this was another day of predicted humidexes above the century mark Kathy continued making reservations for our upcoming trip this afternoon. Myself I continued with my data entries and phone calls that need to see results before we hit the road again.
I was trying to reach one number in Texas that now belongs to a private household but he knew the name of the business I was looking for and gave me the new number. My first try of that number yielded a recording that the mailbox was not in service Please Try Again at a later date. Not what I'm wanting to hear. I finally find their site with the new phone number writen all over the page. I filled in a contact E-mail and sent it off. While working on other programs I heard and E-mail arrive but didn't check it right away. It was from the company I was trying to reach saying my phone number was incorrect. A quick glance of the original E-mail showed I had type a 4 instead of a 5 making the number useless. Hopefully I hear from them tomorrow.
With only 14 days before we are back on the road we still have a lot to accomplish. Tomorrow night will be the official start to Summer and then the temperatures are supposed to cool the following day. Sounds like the Spring/Winter we had around here. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
