Slow Recovery Day

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

By the title you might be thinking that we celebrated Easter like we had eaten at a buffet or indulged our taste buds in our wine cellar. Shame on You! We were up by 8:00 and on the road shortly after. The recovery was picking up and completing errands that needed doing today.

First we had to go out to Essex to pick up Kathy's PC which suddenly caught a virus last week. The virus started hiding all the Icons and Toolbars and had to be unplugged to stop it. Fortunately they saved her files and address book but the operating system has to be reformatted; so now I have to reload all the operating programs. We also have a 2 Terabyte Backup Storage system that would not allow us access to our files and would not allow any more files to be saved for the last year. The techs were able to disable the password security on the unit. There is nothing top secret on any of our computers just simple files but a lot of pictures that are only partially backed-up at this time. I also want to Backup our blogs as I have read many bloggers who didn't do that and somehow lost all their posts.

We had to make a few more stops before heading home which took us to the other side of Windsor. We cheated and took highway 401 to cross town. Something that would normally take 15 minutes only took 5minutes and helped get the carbon off the valves in the car.

Kathy and I both had headaches by the time we got home probably from all the stress of the day. We tried just taking a quick nap but that didn't work so we started watching a movie and made supper during the long commercial breaks. Great Movie!

Today Kathy and I would also like to welcome 2 new followers of our blog. The first is Mike McFall from Mike and Pat's Travels who travel by RV and have a Winter base in Arizona. The second new follower is Bob from The Caretaker Chronicles he is presently living in Germany but continues to follow the RVing lifestyle that he used to enjoy when he lived in Canada. Bob has left comments on our post before but just today became a follower.

I have been reading RV blogs through the Hitchitch forum for a few years and only became a blogger in November of last year. I keep up with all current posts from our sidebar but only leave comments on blogs I follow when I'm not behind in my reading or if there is something technical that I feel my imput might help the blog owner out. When I leave comments I also always sign off with our blog title. Unfortunately Mike thought I was telling him It's about time that he do or did somethings and then got a little chuckle when he realized it was Our Blog Title.

The weather should be a touch cooler tomorrow so I'll try to get Kathy's PC all back to normal but Wednesday I'm hoping to catch up on a few outdoor chores so I can get back on track with the trailer. With only 55 days until we hit the road for our first trip and only 72 days left before the start of Summer there's no time to waste. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
