Pick Up Surprise.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Unexpectedly, last night turned into one that I will try hard to forget. For someone who used to drink enormous amounts of Coffee every day and now only drinks a single Fourteen-Ounce Mug, I find it hard to believe that I never had any problems falling to sleep back then and struggle to do so today. Of course, the fact that it takes a few days recovering after not using that Nighttime Medication for a single night. After doing all the typical insomniatic things that one does while not being able to do what nature intended grows old fast. When Kathy headed to the Bathroom at 8:10, I was certain that she would be starting her day soon. Imagine my surprise when I came out of the Kitchen to find her connected to her CPAP Machine, sleeping again.

I had all my morning E-Reading finished when I decided there would be no Breakfast, but Brunch. The drawer where all our Frying Pans are stored, is a bit on the snug side, so before I could preheat the burners, Kathy was sitting at the table waiting for her Food. She has developed quite an appetite lately, so she enjoyed her Two Sunnyside Up Eggs on Toast with Bacon as a side with Breakfast Juice to wash it down before moving to her Coffee and Computer.

Even though the Temps were comfortable when we left, the Southwest Wind made it feel totally different. We did manage to drive the entire day with just the windows down rather than racing the Gas Gauge by running the Air Conditioning.
Our destination was Fantastic Sam’s for our Haircuts. Our appointment was actually for last Wednesday, but unexpected things got in the way. Unfortunately, someone else already had booked our time today, so we had to wait the extra Twenty Minutes before being taken. We even scheduled our next Haircut, Two Days before my Shoulder Surgery.

Since I grew up only Blocks away and we owned a beautiful Raised Ranch Two Miles away, I used that knowledge of the Backroads, to get to Guardian Storage without using the Expressway. I knew there was a package waiting since yesterday, but when I walked in to find a Heavy Box also waiting for me, I was surprised because it was only ordered on Monday with a Six-Day shipping date.

With Brunch having left us feeling hungry at Five Hours, we headed to Burger King to try their recently advertised improved menu. There was only Two Customers ahead of us, but as we ate, the inside line grew to the front entrance, possibly Sixty Feet Long, and there was a constant flow of traffic using their Drive-Thru. As we were leaving the traffic wanting to use the Drive-Thru extended Hundreds of Feet down the street, not including those already on the property.

Just like last evening, there was a slight drizzle on our Windshield from the Black Clouds that seemed to be following us. Kathy came out to the parking lot to help carry things in. Again, the Weather Guesser on the “6 o’clock Local News” showed where it had really Rained in different parts of the City today.

Nothing of interest to watch on Television tonight so Kathy is already in Bed. I’m hoping to be there soon. Tomorrow will be busier.
