Doing What We Can.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy woke up in the middle of the night to find that I wasn’t lying next to her. I was having one of my Insomniatic nights that even an extra strength Tylenol was having trouble making me relax. Of course we were both up before 8:00 and having breakfast. At the computers it seems to be taking less time to complete our morning reading. As mentioned yesterday I am noticing many of the RV blogs we follow are just not writing when they are not traveling. Kathy finished her morning off by doing more research.

Shortly after lunch we made a list of places we needed to go and then we numbered the order from the first to the last. The reason we do that is so that we can efficiently get them all completed without bouncing around like a ping-pong ball thus saving us time and fuel.

Since Kevin and Melissa were busy yesterday we had a visit with them this evening. By the time we arrived at their home in Amherstburg Kathy and I had made twelve stops. Kathy and I had a chance to explain what our plans are for cutting our present living costs. They agreed with our decision and were very supportive. Then the conversation changed to the boys schooling and Melissa’s job. Even as serious as the conversation sometimes got we always found something to bring out a round of laughter.

Since we are now experiencing less than twelve hours of daylight the daytime temperatures are much cooler with higher winds and a growing urge of Hitch-itch starting. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Can't tell by the pictures
of the last few days that
we have a bad case of
Hitch-itch.

  1. One very small payment a year less than one months rent takes care of our utilities and campground fees most of the year.
That's how we cut costs. Not for everybody though.

  2. I rarely post in the summer when we are sitting in Ohio.

Hang in there. You will be on the road before you know it.
