Finally an Answer.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Someone who doesn’t know us would think that we are sleeping late after a night of binging but that’s not the case. With the high Humidex that has been plaguing our area lately the only way that Kathy can comfortably survive is to remain inside buildings, vehicles or apartments that have Air Conditioning running. We figure that is why we have been sleeping so soundly. Once the temperatures and humidity levels drop we’ll be able to sleep with just the windows open at night.

While I was busy this morning Kathy received a call from our son Gary apologizing for not even calling us yesterday. Apparently they got tied up at the hospital and he just forgot to call. He says they’ll be back in town for the Labor Day weekend.

Kathy and I walked over to the Metro Grocery store this morning while the temperature was still fairly cool. This allowed us to get a few items that she had forgotten to put on her list the other day as well as giving us some exercise.

Back at the apartment while Kathy caught her breathe I showed her the results of some research that I had done online and she seemed impressed with the results. Her only comment is that now we should try to use that information.

After lunch I finally started taking the hardware off the doors and breadbox so that I can refinish them to a more realistic tone for the trailer. Kathy was busy cleaning the chicken that I grilled the other night off the bones. She then started making stock that she’ll be able to use the next time she makes homemade soup. For supper she made a wonderful chicken parmesan using some of the chicken she had cleaned up earlier before making the soup stock.

Tomorrow we’ll be playing catch up on things we didn’t get done this week. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. The weather here is not too humid and perfect for sleeping at night with the windows open.
