Well last night's beachball feeling in my head did decrease to just having marbles stuck up my nose for this evening. Slowly things are starting to feel a little more acceptable even though we are still not at 100%. This bug has definitely been the hardest one we have ever had to recover from and get over. Even our daughter Karen sent us a big bowl of delicious homemade chicken soup to try to help us in our recovery.

It also felt strange waking up in the apartment not feeling like an ice chess now that the heater has been repaired. We have been turning the temperature setting down since last night because it was so cold in here that the Electrician had cranked to maximum to get the chill out of the apartment.

Outside today checking our trailer.
The temperature was around 40,
but the wind chill was closer to 25. |
After doing some housework around the apartment this morning Kathy and I felt we needed to go for a ride because we were starting to get Cabin Fever. We decided to check out the trailer at the storage yard to make sure we had not acquired any uninvited guests. Everything looked good other then the fact that we were not loading or hooking up to hit the road. Suddenly we felt better realizing that there are only 73 days until spring. That sure put a smile on both our faces.

From there a short trip was made to the dollar store to pick up a few needed supplies. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be back to our normal selves.
It's about time.

You might be a Redneck if
All of your hunting trips break the law.
Glad to hear you're starting to feel better and that you got the heat fixed. Take care...
ReplyDeleteIt is always good for the soul to sit in the rolling condo especially after having chicken soup. I am glad you are both back on your feet again.
