Sometimes this computor can be a helpful tool finding valuable information. Other times I'm sure the neighbours were wondering, (@#$%^&*) What is happening over there?
As I said in a past post this act of blogging is very new to me. It can be a calming way to finish the day. Unfortunately it has also been a major source of frustration. That had a lot to do with the Edited Venting Post.
There are times when I open Our Blog to find we no longer have any followers listed. Wait 5 or 10 minutes and they're back below the Header.
I try to add things to make it more entertaining for our readers. A nice Thank You to our Readers and Followers would be nice, but when I add that in I lose something we want to keep. So I use online Tutorials to guide me along. What they say works for everyone, doesn't work for me. I set Kathy's computor on the Tutorials and work on the blog on my computor, it still doesn't work. Let's switch computors the other way, still no luck.
We follow many RV Bloggers, only to find their Blog names changing on our Side Bar.
Could it be that there is a Gremlin playing with Our Blog, or could this just be the joys of being a Blogger.
I've even tried online Forums to try to solve these problems. Same answers as the Tutorials and finally "We'll get back to you"
It's about time.
Wished I could help you with some answers to those problems but I'm at a loss as to what could be causing your difficulties. Maybe Rick at Desert Hot Springs could help you. Only thing I can offer you is encouragement to stick with your blog and see the problems through. We have all had our growing pains with this blogging stuff but in the end this love/hate relationship with our computers usually works out favorably on the love side:))
ReplyDeletegood luck with the blogging...I also had many trial and tribs trying to get it right..I tried different blogging sources, live writer, mars editor etc as I have a mac..finally I just stayed with blogspot just seemed easier to me..Rick might have some answers he was a big help when I was struggling..good luck
ReplyDeleteHi....... I've been looking at your blog and the one thing that pops out at me is that it just seems slow in loading when compared to other blogs - it just scrolls slow too.
ReplyDeleteWithout being able to troubleshoot it myself it's hard to say what the problem might be but it could be as simple as the template you are using.
What you might want to try is to create a new 'Test Blogsite'. This is easy to do just create a new blog with a unique name then try a simple, basic template and add in all the sidebar gadgets you now have. You can also export your current blog posts from your existing blog and then import them into your test blog to give it the feel of your blog.
This is pretty easy to do and by testing out different, simple templates you just might find out what the problem seems to be.
I do think there are gremlins inside Blogger. I too find many different goings on that are not user generated!!
