Out Of Focus and High Winds.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Kathy found it strange last night, when she came out of the washroom to find me already tipped back for the night in my Recliner. I would later join her in Bed, once my Neck would straighten enough to stop hurting.

We were both up around 8:00 this morning, giving us time for our breakfast snack, then our Coffees as we checked the Computers for important messages. We were out the door by 10:00 to find the puddles had all disappeared with the help of the West Winds. That allowed us to use the Expressway to get across the City in a quick fashion.

We thought that we were late for our appointments at the Windsor Optometric Center when we arrived, fortunately there had been a delay with other patients. Like our Family Doctor, I've also been dealing with David for Thirty-Six Years. Kathy passed her eye examination with flying colours but me not so much. For the last year, I have been noticing a change in my vision, blurry vision and Eye Pain. We have both had Cataract Surgery on Both Eyes, but years before we met, I was going Blind. After undergoing Latsik Eye Surgery everything turned around for me. Unfortunately, I have to go through a different type of Laser Surgery to straighten things around again.

Of course, having my eyes dialated is never something that I look forward to. Having had many pieces of Metal removed from my eyes, it has become a standard ritual.

Since it was nearly 1:00 as we headed for home and our breakfast snack was long gone, we stopped at Popeye's for Chicken Wraps for lunch.

Back at the Apartment we had to open our Balcony Door, to cool it down, but had to be cautious of the 47 MPH Wind Gusts. When the New Management Company started doing all the so-called improvements, they took away the ability of the tenants to control their own heat. It is only logical to have it controlled by someone in Toronto, over Two Hundred Miles away. The bad part is when it gets really cold.

After emptying our Recycle Containers in the freshly emptied Bins outside, we finally had the chance to get back to our Computers, but I had a problem. It took me past 9:00 this evening before I could properly focus on anything I tried to read.

We enjoyed Veggie Wraps for a late supper this evening.

After watching "High Potential" we were able to watch the "11 o'clock Local News" without any delays due to Football Games. Our high winds this afternoon were due to Storms in Michigan and tomorrow looks like it will be a very wet day.
