New Neighbours, Searching For A Pharmacy and Stopping For A Snack.

Our Location today is La Posa South L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.

We had slightly milder temperatures last night but still not enough to open the windows. We managed to be out of bed before 8:00 but it was going to be another of those days where the Sun would stay hidden for most of the day behind of the Clouds. 

The most Sun we saw all day.

Once breakfast was behind us we settled in at the Computers with a Hot Lemon Ginger Tea in an attempt to help break the remaining Congestion that we are both experiencing. We are still having balancing issues because of the Congestion so one of the things I did was research where the Pharmacies were in Quartzsite. Another thing was trying to add certain Apps to our Cell Phones that we feel will be beneficial to both of us. However even though I had the phone connected to the Internet by our MiFi the message kept appearing saying that it wasn’t connected.

We have been set up here at La Posa South LTVA for a month as well as our friends Wayne and Sue who were parked about Five Hundred Feet away giving us both some privacy. When you register at the LTVA Office they tell you to park anywhere you like but just be considerate of your neighbours. By 10:00 this morning an “A” Class Motorhome decided that he wanted to park right between our two Trailers even though there was plenty of space beyond Wayne and Sue’s Trailer. 

For lunch today Kathy said she was using up more Leftovers. With a Single Bagel to use she used the last of the Sliced Ham and added a few Potato Chips. For dessert she used the last of the Strawberries making another Strawberry Sponge Cupcake.

We were starting to feel closed in because of the Crud and the Cloudy Weather so we didn’t wait too long after finishing lunch to head to Quartzsite. We went to locate the Pharmacies that were listed On-Line. The first was an easy find but they were closed because it’s Sunday. Not like back in Ontario where they are open Seven Days a Week in these small towns lots of things are closed on the Weekends. 

The Big Tent is up, now the Vendors have to move in.

We went looking for the second location but it seems the Street Name has been changed and the Website was never corrected. The Pharmacy is attached to a Medical Center. 

3 Interesting Motorcycles at Silly Al's.

We didn’t want to go where there were large crowds and instead of heading back Home we stopped at Dorothy & Toto’s Ice Cream Parlour. We each had a small cone but the coolness on our throats was really soothing.

The temperature was supposed to reach 75 F (24 C) but with the cool North Breeze we were getting it felt a lot cooler. 

For supper we grilled a couple of Hamburgers on our Weber and had a Tropical Applesauce for our dessert.

Even though we are “Off the Grid” we still use a fair amount of Electricity charging our Cell Phones running our Computers, Lights and CPAP Machines. Since it has been so cloudy the last couple of days we ran our Honda Generator for a Half Hour to top up our Batteries.
