Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.
I forgot to mention in last night’s blog that our
daughter-in-law Melissa had gone to the movies and on our recommendation went
to see The Butler. Even though she hasn’t been around as long as Kathy and I she
was amazed at what took place throughout this person’s life and she did
remember some of the events that occurred during the time that she was a child.
She gave it two thumbs up as well.
I am really starting to wonder how long it had been that my
old CPAP machine was starting to fail on me. Since Monday night when I started
using this loaner machine I have been sleeping fairly well throughout the
night. This morning I slept past 8:00 and I am feeling more rested as each day
passes.
We have been watching the Weather Channel while having
breakfast for the last few days as well as this morning and they have been
showing the temperatures for the next two days feeling like the mid 90’s. That
is quite the change from the last few days where we were having cool fall like
temperatures. For myself it’s not a problem but for Kathy and all her allergies
it would make it difficult for her to breathe freely so we again turned on the
AC until later this Saturday.
I was cleaning up old pill bottles this morning removing any
personal information before recycling them. It is amazing how many
prescriptions a household can go through in a six month period. You don’t always have the time to clean the extra
vials after filling the Daucets. Kathy was having problems with her computer so
I also had to run scans and clean up a few programs that she had no idea how
they got into her computer. While I was doing all that cleaning up Kathy started
the slow cooker to cook up a pork roast for supper and then she cleaned up the
last of the Taco Soup for lunch.
I still had more cleaning to do after lunch but before long Kathy
was back on her computer continuing her research of travel destinations for our
2014-2015 trip down south. I finished my cleaning job by taking out the recycle
to the bins outside of the building.
When I returned I called Dominion Body Shop to get a
progress report on the truck. They have all the bent panels all straightened
and it should be in the paint booth in the morning. Afterwards they have to
replace the decals where they had to paint and then reassemble all the trim,
bumper and Toneau Cover. So right now we’re looking at getting the truck back sometime
on Tuesday afternoon.
Along with the Pork Roast Kathy made for supper we also had
more Greek Pasta Salad to top it off. Tomorrow we’ll have a more active day out
and I have a few more appointments to make for the trailer. Thanks for
following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
Krackers
I've
got this awful job down on the farm.
I'm
up to my elbows in manure all day.
Well
at least it'll stop you from biting your nails.
Greek Pasta Salad sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteSeems everyone is getting work done on their vehicles, must be the time of year. Hope you get your truck back soon.
