Practical Lazy Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

I always prefer to take my showers in the morning because they tend to invigorate me. In other words they wake me up but last night I just felt that I needed to shower before bed. Afterwards I was lying in bed for nearly an hour before I went to relax on the computer. By 1:30 I was relaxed enough to call it a day and managed not to wake Kathy when I climbed in bed.
Guess what all those spots on the windows are?

The sun was bright in the bedroom even with the curtains drawn this morning. I was awake by 8:00 and started opening the curtains and windows wide in the other rooms. After watching the weather channel for a while I started getting the coffee made just in time for Kathy to wake up and join me. We had Banana pancakes for breakfast this morning and even though I’ve made them many times before Kathy still thought she needed to coach me. Kathy’s doctor wants to run some more tests so she has taken Kathy off her arthritis medication. Now Kathy has very little strength in her hands and they are in constant pain but they can’t do the test if she stays on those medications.
Once breakfast was completed we settled in on the computers and suddenly the phone started ringing. It was one of the people that had answered Kathy’s ad on Kijiji saying her friend had a van and they were coming to get the bookcase. (Maybe I should have made last night’s rant earlier in the week.) Another twenty minutes passed and our intercom rang that they were here. They loved the bookcase and didn’t even haggle over the price. Wearing my hernia belt I helped to carry it to their van.
After having a late lunch Kathy needed a Snap while I played a few games on the computer. Once Kathy was awake we started rearranging our office practically flipping the entire room. The hardest part of the job was reconnecting the wires to the computers after moving them around. It is amazing how much more this has opened up this room.

This was in one sense a lazy day but we still managed to get a lot accomplished but who knows what we’ll be up to tomorrow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

All of tonight's pictures I took
at the Butterfly Observatory
in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
