One of Those Days.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night was the fourth night in a row that we slept with the windows close and for a good reason because last night it dipped well below freezing and we don’t have the heat on in our apartment.  We even managed to sleep fairly well through the night and were awake shortly after 8:00 this morning.
After coffee and waffles we spent a short while on the computers before starting our chores. I stripped the linens off the bed and gathered the rest of the laundry for sorting while Kathy started dusting. The balcony construction work is still continuing at the other end of the building but the concrete dust continues to find its way into everyone’s apartments.
When I got to the laundry room it only took a few minutes to get all the washers I needed going. While waiting I went to get our mail and brought it back to the apartment where Kathy was busy passing the vacuum collecting even more dust then the last time. I managed to get a few crossword puzzles finished as well before moving the clothes over from the washers to the dryers. Since the drying cycle takes an hour I headed back to the apartment to make up the bed with fresh linens. Once the bed was made I headed back downstairs to do a few more puzzles before it was time to fold the clothes.
Once Kathy and I finished putting away our folded clean clothes she needed a Snap again. She’s still not feeling a hundred percent and with all the work she did today it’s no wonder she was worn out. While she rested I was able to finish the research needed to update the data on my spreadsheet.
Bighorn Mountain Pass.
With the cold weather we were experiencing and being tired from all the work we did today plus the fact that we needed to go to the grocery store for some supplies an executive decision was made to eat supper at Wendy’s tonight. The best part was that we both ate a filling meal for less than ten dollars thanks to some coupons we have.
We stopped at Zehr’s for groceries and finally got that all put away at the apartment by 7:00. We have a few errands to run tomorrow so I’m sure we’ll find something else to do while we’re at it. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
