Turned Around Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

Strange as it may seem it seems that whenever we have something that is scheduled for early morning or we have a travel day coming I don’t sleep well. Today was one of those days where I had to drive our daughter Karen part way to work because her car is presently at Dominion Body Shop because someone backed into it at work. I had all my morning E-mails and Blogs read before I walked out the door.

After getting home and having breakfast I needed to lay down for a Snap in order to get rid of a headache that came on suddenly. The worst part of this is I have an early morning appointment tomorrow at the Sleep Disorder Clinic. Go Figure!

Kathy seems to be developing a Headcold so after she got her reading completed she laid down beside me to put nose drops in to relieve the stuffiness and was almost dozing off herself. Suddenly we both jumped out of bed upon hearing the unmistakable sound of a Yellow Jacket. His life ended abruptly and no matter how hard we searched we just cannot find where they keep coming in from.

After lunch we headed to the body shop where they had the chore of replacing bolts that they had failed to put back into the tool cabinet they had removed to repair the truck. We also stopped to do some mall walking for some exercise before heading home where we found a phone message waiting to say that Kathy’s new and old laptops was ready for pickup. We plan on using the old laptop as a backup if one of the newer machines go down. Unfortunately there was a problem with the old laptop so we won't be picking them up until tomorrow morning after my Sleep Disorder appointment.

Being that this is Wednesday we headed for Amherstburg after we picked up the computers and stopped at McDonalds for supper and Monopoly game pieces. After doing more walking around the Walmart we went over to visit with Kevin and Melissa for our weekly visit. As usual we had an enjoyable visit that was accompanied by many bouts of laughter.

A little clarification on yesterday’s blog post about spending money to save it. Kathy and I know how much of the supplies to buy that we bring along on our travels. We also shop at home first and what we still need we put on a shopping list. The products that we bought that were on sale were all on our list and we only bought the amount required. We no longer own a home so we don’t stock up and we will not need to buy any of these things while we are away this winter.

Hopefully I’ll sleep better tonight even though I have that early appointment. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Teacher: "Why are you crying, Janie?"

Janie: "Because my new tennis shoes hurt."

Teacher: "That's because you put them on the wrong feet.

Janie: "Well, they're the only feet I have."
