Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Even though the alarm clock wasn't set we both had a night of broken sleep. Our guess is that our bodies are on high alert mode and just couldn't totally relax.
After breakfast Kathy started cooking vegetables and other foods in the fridge that wouldn't keep for the two weeks that we'll be gone. Around 10:30 I started lending a hand and by noon we were done. By the time we leave tomorrow morning nothing that was cooked today will be left so no worry of spoilage.
Another of our jobs this morning had also been to pack the clothes that we'll be taking with us. After our enjoyable lunch we loaded everything into a shopping cart then brought it out to the truck and headed for the trailer. By the time we got to the storage yard the wind had picked up considerably and made loading the trailer difficult. While Kathy stored the clothes in the drawers and closet I was verifying the non-existance of certain bicycle supplies. Once that was known I turned on the propane in order to start the cooling of the refrigerator. I then went inside to stow our laptop computers and camera equipment that we are bringing with us.
A quick stop at Staples Office Supply was made for cartridges for our printers. Next stop was Canadian Tire to pickup the missing bicycle supplies.
Kathy suggested that since we were not eating any meat at home today that we stop at Burger King for just a hamburger. We were very surprised at the renovations that they had done and how much it really brought new life to the place.
Back home the wind has picked up more than before so I assembled my new portable work bench that will be travelling in the basement for any of the unexpected jobs that might pop up in our travels. Speaking of Travels our first starts at 9:30 tomorrow morning so I can't even say that there is a day left. Instead I'll have to say look at the countdown gadget on our sidebar otherwise I'll never sleep tonight. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Krackers
Two peanuts walked into a bar,
one was a-salted.
Have a great trip.

ReplyDeleteSafe travels! We haven't been out in the camper yet this year, and the boys are having a fit! In about 2 weeks we should be done with the house staging, and will have it back on the market -- then we can go out for a nice, long, relaxing camping trip . . . I just have to figure out where to go!! LOL
ReplyDeleteSafe travels!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your posts of your trip!
