Kathy Paid For Supper and Early Fall-Like.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

In an attempt to use up the Pain Medications that were prescribed following my Hip Surgery last year, I have been very cautious. The first thing that I should make our readers understand is, that all the dosages were lower than the Extra Strength Tylenol I had been taking before. The second thing is that none of them are Opioid based. By simply taking something as low as 5mg stops the Pain that is keeping me awake at night.

Last night turned into a good night, allowing me to restfully be connected between both my CPAP Machines for nearly 8 Hours. Mind you that is not all sleep but getting better. Many would say they don’t need that much sleep at night, and I have an answer. Throughout my Career, I lived on between 2 to 5 Hours of sleep per night. I remember spending many nights in Hospital Emergency with my Asthmatic Daughter, then going straight to work after getting her home. It just seems that my body is needing more recovery time to heal these days.

After starting my day, I let Kathy catch up on her sleep this morning, while I took care of some chores. Then I actually needed to sit at my Computer, just to rest. Since she was late in joining me, we settled for a Bacon/Veggie Omelette for Brunch. I’m starting to see bare spots in our Fridge.

The other day when Kathy visited her Cardiologist, he increased the dosage on one of her Medications. Surprisingly, we had not received a call from the Pharmacy saying they were ready, so I called them. That was odd because they always call when something is there for us. It was ready so I said we’d pick them up later.

We headed out around 4:00 with multiple stops planned. The first was at Health First Pharmacy to collect Kathy’s new Medications. It’s actually just a higher dosage of one she already has.

We were surprised to see all the Detour Signs on Jefferson gone, so that saved us Twenty Minutes, as we headed to Guardian Storage to collect our Mail. That saved time was put to good use, when one piece of Mail needed to be deposited, so we headed to the Credit Union to do so. It was at that time that I realized, my Wallet was still at home. The deposit was made because after Fifty Years, I know my account number by heart.

The Plan to go grocery shopping went out the window, but luckily Kathy had her Debit Card with her. Even though it’s the same account, you could say “Kathy paid for supper”. Luckily, we can still use Coupons at Wendy’s to get a good meal at a reasonable price.

We decided grocery shopping could wait, so we headed back to the Apartment and our Computers.

We later watched “Monk”, “Forensic Files” and the “11 o’clock Local News”. The Weather Guesser said today’s weather was more like Early Fall, rather than the scorching Summer Temperatures we’ve been getting used to.
