Changed Medications.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

For some unknown reason, I struggle to jut fall to sleep last night, but once that was accomplished the rest of the night was a breeze. Surprisingly, I also woke earlier than normal, so I busied myself with the chores that were not quite finished yesterday.

Even though Kathy struggles to hear without the use of her Hearing Aides, if she hears the slightest sound from the Dishes, Cookware or Utensils through her pillow, she is instantly awake.

We used this morning’s breakfast snack to clean out more of the things we had in the Fridge, before finishing our Coffees at our Computers. We read what we felt we needed to know for the moment, before heading out the door.

When we arrived at the Windsor Heart Institute, people were driving around the parking lot, as if they were running a race because of the heat. A gentleman ahead of us was dropping his wife at the entrance because of the Humidex, so I had no choice but to stop. A woman behind me, tried squeezing her car between us and the parked vehicles. She didn’t hear my Horn, but she heard me scream at her through our open driver’s window. I also dropped Kathy off near the entrance, before parking the Car.

Normally, when we arrive early, Kathy is taken in early and we are leaving before her appointment time. Today we were Twenty Minutes early, they were Forty Minutes late in checking her Vitals, then it was another Half Hour before she was interviewed by a young Intern. Twenty Minutes later the Cardiologist arrived with yet another Intern in tow. Right now there seems to be a Global Shortage of Doctors, so Governments are giving incentives to Doctors or Clinics that help in the final stages of training, the upcoming next generation of Doctors. Kathy’s Medications are being adjusted, and instead of seeing her in another Year, she’ll see him again in Six Months. It was past 3:00 when we finally left from Kathy’s 1:00 appointment.

Thinking we would be done early as normal, we didn’t have lunch. We headed to Wendy’s where we used a Coupon to save money on our supper. Besides their tasty food, we appreciated sitting inside the Air Conditioned Dining-Room.

Again, I dropped Kathy at the front entrance to our building, and she didn’t complain.

The only thing we ate later this evening, was a small dish of Sorbet. It cooled us down without overfilling us. We also watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” before watching the “11 o’clock Local News”. A few more Hot and Wet days heading our way.

Krackers

I was wondering why this Frisbee kept looking bigger and bigger.

Then it hit me.
