After worrying yesterday, about the Prescription Medications building up in my blood, I no longer have to worry about it. Last night I was back and forth between my Recliner and Bed, while spending more time in my Recliner. The Shoulder Pain, just would not let me find a comfortable way to sleep. Hopefully, that was only a One Day set back.
There was one advantage to waking up in my Recliner, and that was I did not sleep late. I was still fumbling along when Kathy came out to join me Twenty Minutes later and claimed that she’d had a rough night. (She sleeps well when I sleep well.) Being that we had shut the AC off before going to bed last night, could have been part of the problem.
Looking outside there was evidence that we’d had Overnight Showers. Breakfast was simply a Muffin and Yogurt Cup with our Coffees brought to the Computers.
Some of the ideas I have been getting for cooking, are from the Blogs I read. Today I tried just giving it an extra step up to see how that would be. I started by cooking a slice of Bacon for each of us, while getting everything else ready. When I went to slice the Tomato, the Knife I like to use struggled to penetrate the skin. The other day I purchased a Cooking Knife at the Dollarama and even pricked my finger on the blade while washing it. I simply glided it across the Tomato without any added pressure, and the first slice lay on the Cutting Board. Looks like I’ll be using that Knife more often. We enjoyed our Grilled Bacon/Cheese and Tomato Sandwiches for lunch.
Around the time we sat down for lunch, the Rain started coming down so hard, we could barely make out the Balcony Rail outside the Door.
Even
with the Showers
we kept getting through the afternoon the Humidex
managed to reach 99
F
(37
C)
and we still had not turned on the Air
Conditioner.
We finally shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza with added Pineapple for a late supper.
Once the Dishes and Kitchen were all cleaned up, we watched a couple episodes of “Highway Through Hell” before the “11 o’clock Local News” came on. Looks like we could be in for more wet weather.
