Cool Start and Toronto Patients Heading Our Way.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Click on the pictures to enlarge.

I managed to be up reading the Local News, Blogs, E-mails and checking the Weather early this morning. The Sun was shinning brightly but the temperature was definitely not that bright. With just a very slight breeze outside it was feeling like 19 F (-7 C). Again there were no Job Ads to look at.

Other then doing our normal chores we spent most of the morning on the Computers. Looking down at the Trail the few people that were out walking were bundled up in Coats with the Hoods pulled over their heads. The temperature never reached the Freezing Mark until noon.

We had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch with a Yogurt Cup, Pecan Tart and a shared Apple for dessert.

Checking my E-mail I received a message telling me an Employer was looking at one of my applications. When lunch finally settled down I was able to exercise accomplishing Two Full Sets once again.

We changed things around by having Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Olive Garnishings for supper along with Grapes, Maple Cookies and a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert.

On the 6 o’clock Local News with skyrocketing Coronavirus numbers in the Toronto Area the province is shipping many of those to our Local Hospitals. We learned of 1 New Death in the Windsor/Essex Region as well as 57 New Cases bringing the Total Active Cases to 478.

Weather wise we were just shy of setting a new record last night. Last week the forecast was that we would continue with Below Seasonal Temperatures well into next month. Tonight the forecast was revised even though the Clouds filled the sky we’ll be back on track for the rest of the month.

Checking my E-mail once again I was notified that I was not selected for another Job that I applied for. Very Frustrating.

We later watched “Law and Order Special Victims” and “Law and Order Organized Crime” this evening.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment unless it personally attacks someone for their comment or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Michigan is also having high Covid-19 cases and you share a border with Detroit, Michigan. Even though the border is officially closed to "non-essential" traffic as is our border with Mexico a lot of people go back and forth.

Just for fun, I go online to the border crossing times webpage to check the various southern borders in Texas, Arizona, and California. I am appalled that lines are long enough in particular on the weekends that it takes 2 to 4 hours to cross. Somehow I do not think those are "essential" crossings. I have never checked wait times with Canada.

  2. I'm sorry about the job! Maybe you're not meant to go back to work :) or a different field of work? I hate to say it, but when Ken got on with the county (sewer) he didn't require any certificates or anything but a little knowledge. Now they require so much for the same job, he couldn't have applied now.
