Change Of Scenery, Getting Caught UP, Adding Time, Searching For Fellow Bloggers, and A Low Flying Surprise.

Our Location today is La Posa South LTVA, Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.

Yesterday when we stopped at Silly Al’s for pizza we both asked for diet Pepsi because they didn’t have anything that was Caffeine-Free. After having been busy doing the laundry earlier we both had finished our first glass of pop before our pizza arrived so the waitress brought us a small pitcher for refills. That may not be a problem for many people but we both spent most of the night tossing and turning because of the Caffeine.
Waking up after 8:00 MST on a day you plan on moving is not a good thing as there was still plenty of things that needed to be done both inside and outside. It didn’t help that the 45 F (7 C) outside temperature was reinforced by Twelve to Nineteen MPH Northeast Winds. It was close 10:00 by the time we rolled out of Dome Rock BLM for the last time this season.
This guy has plenty of Solar Power.
There was very little traffic even when we drove down Tyson Wells Road before heading south on Highway 95. Within five minutes we were inside the Office signing in for another two-week stay at La Posa South LTVA. It was a different Camp Host from all our previous stays. By 10:30 we were on the road heading in towards what I was sure would be a long line up at the Dump-Station. Imagine my surprise when we were able to drive right up to a station without even waiting. As we got things draining I looked behind to see the line-up slowly starting to grow. Talk about timing!
That's enough power to run a house.
As soon as we’d topped off our Fresh-Water Tank we started making our way back to where we’ve stayed in the past. Since the rest of our Canadian RVing Friends are scattered all over the southwest at this point we moved a little closer towards our old neighbour from our first stay here.
Spanish Rice on the left and Scrambled Ham Omelette.
We had just gotten leveled and the slides spread out when Wayne came walking over. He thought that we’d have been half-way home by now but he was happy to see us. He stuck around and talked to me even while I was on the roof tilting our Solar Panels. He and his wife will be heading back to Washington before the end of March because she is still working for a few more years.
Side-by-Sides running along Plomosa Road.
After Kathy had set up her kitchen she’d been busy cooking up lunch and even though she called me in I could smell it from the roof. She adjusted the left-over Spanish Rice then made a Scrambled  Ham Omelette to go with it. Unfortunately, there weren’t any left-overs for another meal.
While Kathy cleaned up the kitchen and did the dishes I set up our Computers as well as our CPAP Machines in the bedroom. Before going back to the computers I called the Booking Office for the upcoming Escapade in Tucson so we could arrive another day earlier. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather before we head in that direction because if we don’t have to use our Generator we can stay in the Solar Power area and not have to listen to the Truck Stop Noise of Generators running like we did at the Good Sam Rally last weekend.
We were busy checking a few other things on the Computers including some of the Blogs that we hadn’t read this morning before towing our Home 9.5 Miles to its present location.
It was close to 2:30 when we headed out the door to go for a ride. We had hoped to have a short visit with fellow RV Bloggers who were staying out on Plomosa Road. We both kept our eyes pealed to see if we could see them. Since we had never traveled the length of Plomosa Road we kept looking while enjoying the scenery. With all the rain this area has gotten this winter we saw more green desert then we expected.
Military Exercise.
When we reached Bouse after a quick look around the small community we headed back across Plomosa Road in the opposite direction towards Quartzsite. With the sun glaring off our windshield our hopes of seeing their location from a different view were soon dashed. We were surprised to see a couple of Military Transport Planes flying below the Mountain Tops surrounding the area. There were probably training for Low Altitude Flying.
Back Home in La Posa South while Kathy got things ready I set up our Weber Q as we both wanted something simple to eat and Hot Dogs fit the bill.
Even though we have neighbours within two-hundred feet of our location they are on the other side of the wash that gives us our privacy. We’ll use the time here to visit who we can as well as getting ourselves reorganized. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
