Celebrating Mother’s Day Plus.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night the temperatures dipped low enough that we closed the windows. Tonight’s forecast is calling for freezing temps topped off with a wind chill. Guess the windows are going to stay closed for a few more days.

Strangely we were both so tired when we did go to bed last night that we slept in until 9:00 this morning and we just seemed to drag for most of the morning. I looked out the balcony window seeing what is described as a shelf cloud at 9:05 coming our way and by 9:30 you might have thought that we were about to get SXXw. The sun finally made a showing after we had eaten supper this evening.
Kathy continued sorting through STUFF in the office for the garage sale this morning but by this afternoon was really feeling down so she decided to give herself the rest of the afternoon off. Besides it was Mother’s day and she could have taken the whole day to relax if she wanted to. The kids all called wishing her a Happy Mother’s Day.
Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Ice Wine.
I corrected the other copies of the expense spreadsheet that way if anything happens to Kathy’s computer it is backed up. I also had to research some data for one of my spreadsheets and managed to get that half completed before supper time. Kathy then coached me on how to make her fifteen minute Meatloaf. She did the seasoning while I did the mixing because her arthritis just wouldn’t let her hands do the hard work today.
"Hey where's my treats?"
After supper we went over to Karen’s for our Sunday night visit and I brought over a memory stick with all the pictures that I had taken the other day of Kylla getting ready for the prom. We also got to celebrate our granddaughter’s and grand dog’s birthday a couple of days early. Ashley and Sanford share the same birthday so it was only right that we celebrated them together.
Tomorrow we’ll have a few errands to run but I’m certain we’ll find more to do. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
