Balancing Act.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy and I are not sure of the reason behind it but it seems like a cycle that keeps on repeating itself. Without any help on our part we spend many a sleepless night lying awake in bed staring at the ceiling. Finally our bodies can’t take it anymore and we’re sleeping like logs to the point we are sleeping late into the morning. Our doctors assure us it is just one of the side effects of having Sleep Apnea that we both have. There just doesn’t seem to be a happy medium and either way you still feel tired throughout the day and awake again at night.
After having a late breakfast this morning we went to our computers to get caught up on what is happening in the RV blogging world. We are reading of grandparents sending Christmas gifts by mail to their loved ones and of other Snowbirds driving their toads all the way from down south to celebrate a special milestone birthday in their family back here to snow covered Ontario.
By the time we were finished with that instead of eating lunch right away we opted to watch another Christmas Special that kept out attention until the middle of the afternoon. There seems to be more specials on now since Christmas is now only 12 days away.
Once we finished our lunch of Chicken Noodle Soup we had a job lined up. We need to defrost our upright freezer before leaving on our trip in January and today was the perfect day to do it. From the time we started emptying the freezer, cleaned it up and repacked it took us less than an hour. Now we don’t have to worry about things we might lose while we are away in the new year.
I received notice of seeing a specialist about my hernia problem in the middle of January when we are due to be in Florida. After I called this specialist’s office and explained the time frame problem my appointment was moved to this Friday. This is only for a consult but at least we’ll get the ball rolling for when we get back at the end of April.
Just before the 6 o’clock News came on Kathy cooked us up a beautiful meal using some of the contents of the freezer for supper. Better us eating it then it spoiling. That would be just like throwing our money away.
Now it’s time to read the evening blogs we follow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Always good to get the freezer cleaned out. I hope your sleeping challenges are overcome soon, that is no fun at all!
