11 Days to Christmas

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

With Christmas only being 11 days away tomorrow Kathy and I will begin our 12 days of Christmas. Besides everything else that life holds for us we will be blessed in celebrating an early get together with our dear friends the Hamilton’s.  Because of their son’s job he will not be able to join the family on Christmas day so they will enjoy the day tomorrow.
This morning after breakfast and a fast look at the computer to read the blogs we follow. Then Kathy and I had a cake to bake to bring with us to tomorrow. Once we were finished with the baking we set upon having lunch as it was already past noon hour.
This afternoon Kathy had to return to the Podiatrist for a follow up appointment. Unfortunately the doctor was not happy with the way her toe was healing and had to perform further surgery on it. Believe it or not her next follow up appointment is between the Holidays. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the third time is the charm and will be the end of her troubles with that toe nail.
With a few stops we finished other errands on the way home. Another stop at the Drug Store was needed to pick up more supplies for Kathy. While there I dropped off a list of medications that we’ll both be needing refilled to last us until the end of April on our Florida trip. The drugstore will then verify the quantities with the doctors before the holiday and have them ready for us to pickup after the New Year.
Once we were back home we had Delissio 3 Meat Pizza for supper while we watched the 6 o’clock News. While Kathy sat with her foot elevated I did up the dishes. Next I had to start making up icing so we could tort and ice the cake we baked this morning. The kitchen and dining room space in the apartment is definitely smaller than what we had to work with at our old home but we managed to still make a great tasting cake for tomorrow’s party.
Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
