Bad Mistake.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

If you recall yesterday Kathy and I had a lazy laid back kind of day due to the fact we were fogged in until the rain started in the late afternoon. We enjoyed watching a couple of Christmas specials as well. Since we were not being too active we decided to have a light snack while sitting in the living room rather than full sized meals at the dining room table.

That worked out well for us not overeating but it also caused a problem. On the dining room table we keep a Doucette with the medication we are both supposed to take. Mine are basically like vitamins that help me deal with joint pains. However Kathy’s medications are all prescriptions for her heart, diabetes, arthritic meds and antibiotics. We both forgot to take them last night.

A bit over two weeks ago she had a problem with a tear in the Rotator Cuff in her right shoulder. Her new arthritic medication that helped to keep the joint moving and the pain down was one of the pills not taken last night.

When Kathy woke up this morning the pain level was all the way back up to a 9.5 bringing tears to her eyes. With the help of the arthritic pill and a number of Tylenol through the day as well as spending most of the morning in bed she is slowly recovering. We learned a valuable lesson today. Even if we are lazing about the apartment we’ll be eating at the dining room table.

I managed to get an hour of exercise in today careful to wear my hernia belt. The strange thing is the modified sit-ups that I’m doing seem to be taking the pain away from my stomach. So for the doctors and everyone telling me not to exercise I can only say “No Thanks!”

With Christmas only 20 days away we managed to watch a couple more Christmas Specials again today. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
