Slight Delay.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Kathy definitely had a bad night. We think it could have been a reaction to the medication her doctor prescribed to help ease her shoulder problem. She needed to get up for a bit and then the room started to spin, she started sweating and experiencing all kinds of body aches.

She finally got back to the bedroom and woke me up. We checked her sugar which was slightly high but her blood pressure and heart rate were low. We checked the information that came with her new meds and were surprised that all the side effects she was feeling were listed. It took a while for her to finally fall back to sleep and me longer because I then kept on waking to make certain she was all right. She has to go back to the Doctors Tuesday for her test results from this past week so she’ll bring up her concerns then.

Needless to say we had a very late breakfast and a laidback kind of day. Looking out the window there was no sign of the sun again. We worked together making a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup that was very comforting for our late lunch.

Hand Made Pottery, no spinning table.
Kathy has only managed short periods of time reading blogs today and then needing to rest. I was able to get completely caught up on my data entries as well as my blog reading. Closer to supper Kathy needed me to go to the grocery store for some much needed supplies to make a casserole for supper. I convinced her I’d get the supplies today but have the casserole tomorrow. My suggestion was to use a coupon at A&W for tonight’s meal after I finished the groceries.

On the return trip home with our groceries and supper I cut through a neighborhood as a shortcut. With 44 days until Christmas I counted over a dozen homes that already had their Christmas decorations up and lit. Did I mention that some of our local radio stations are already playing strictly Christmas Music as of today.

Tonight we won’t be up too much longer trying to catch up on our sleep. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. I hope Kathy is feeling better soon. I have not seen any Christmas lights yet, but one of our local stations is playing Christmas music already, they are calling it a beta test.

Prayers for Kathy. Boy, when you don't get enough sleep, the entire day just doesn't feel right.
