Verizon Changes Their Practices, Lots of Rain and Computer Down.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

We were once again nice and warm under our Winter Bedsheets last night. Even though the temperature wasn’t as low as the other night the Humidity level was much higher. That in itself made the air inside our RV feel that much colder than it actually was. It has become a habit to run our Electric Fireplace and to finish drinking our Coffee/Tea while catching up on our morning reading before moving on to our other chores.

Kathy managed to sort through the second drawer of our File Cabinet while I started taking care of things on the phone. During one of those calls I discovered that Verizon has changed their billing practices. They now only allow a customer to suspend their services Without Billing for thirty days at a time instead of the one hundred and eighty days that was previously allowed. We were able to lower the Data Usage so that the billing won’t be so much. If we are paying for it we will use their services more in Ontario throughout the summer.

By the time supper had rolled around we’d had more than a half dozen heavy downpours in our area. It wasn’t until after we watched the 6 o’clock News that I discovered that I couldn’t Log-in to my Laptop. After numerous attempts to get it to have it reboot I could only shut it down. We’ll be making a trip to the Computer Shop in Essex tomorrow.
Later after the water flowing down the street had slowed.
Luckily we held on to our old HP Laptop that is only running Windows Vista as a backup but it is getting the job done. We’ll see what the techs say so hopefully we’ll have our Blog back up to its normal standard in a short time. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
