Blowing In The Wind and Time Change.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

No Jinxing anything here, so I will just say we both had a good night’s sleep. When we opened the Blinds, the Sun was actually lighting up the Apartment. By the time we finished our Muffin and Yogurt Cups at the table, the Clouds had filled the sky.

With our Coffees at our Computers, I was just logging on The Weather Network when the Rain started streaking across the sky. With the help of the 39 MPH (63 KLH) Southwest Wind Gusts it helped to clean the grime off our Balcony Door Window. Thirty Minutes later things were Cloudy but Dry as the Wind cleaned things up.

We waited until noon before heading out. Even though I had told Kathy that I would pick her up with the Car because of the Wind Gusts, she walked on. The alignment of our apartment building and the one exactly to our East, creates Vortex no matter which way it is coming from. Kathy caught her balance just before she would have landed in my arms. Once we were down to the Parking Lot there was barely a breeze.

Wanting something different but fast we went to A&W for lunch, taking advantage of their Teen Burger Special. Every fast food outlet adds different types of seasoning that changes the taste completely. Those along with Onion Rings and Small Diet Root Beers filled the void.

Last night on the “6 o’clock Local News” they showed that the cost Oil was selling for over $90.00 a Barrel due to the War in Iran and it is expected to rise even further. Today as we were headed to get our Mail at Guardian Storage, we passed by the Pioneer gas station we saw these prices. Gasoline $1.519 Litre ($5.749 US gallon), Diesel $1.999 Litre ($7.566 Us Gallon). I am glad that Winter is leaving, because we may be using our Bicycles to do our shopping.

Another thing on last night’s News was that our high temperature could reach 64 F (18 C) today. While we were out, that was exactly what all the electronic Billboards were displaying.

Not wanting to walk the Mall or Walmart, Kathy insisted we just go home. She did not object to being let out at the front entrance. After parking the Car I figured that since the Wind was gusting from the Southwest side of the building, I would go through the rear entrance. I hardly touched the ground walking from the Car to the Door because the Wind nearly carried me between the buildings.

It was past 6:00 when we had Store Bought Chicken Pot Pies. We like to try different foods that can be quickly prepared, taste good and are inexpensive. We have not had these before but will definitely have them again.

We later watched the Docu-Drama called “Accused: The Karen Read Story”. Based on an actual case.

Since Daylight Saving Time Change takes place at 2 am tomorrow morning, I have already adjusted all our Watches and Clocks. This way we will not have to worry about it tomorrow. We wish we could do like Arizona and British Columbia, never having to change their clocks again.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
