After our extensive errands and shopping trip yesterday, neither of us had any problem sleeping last night. However, when I saw the time this morning, approaching 7:00, I willed myself to sleep longer and I did. At 8:27 I finally started my day.
I didn't even try to get things ready for breakfast, because my body was not telling me it was hungry. Instead, I started reading all the Blogs we follow, while the News was off, and Kathy was still sleeping, out of Fifteen, there were only Three left when Kathy came out to join me.
It didn't take long to serve the Bran Muffins and Yogurt Cups for breakfast and our Coffees directly to our Computers.
There were a few errands that needed tending today, so we headed out around 1:30. The first thing we did as to attempt to start the Truck again, using our Booster Tool and the Car. Even though I have been starting the Truck every week in the parking lot, it is not enough to maintain the Battery Power, it needs a good run on the road.
With a full Fridge of food, we headed to Wendy's for a late lunch. With their Dave's Single on for $4.00 and a Free Senior's Soft Drink, (On until October 26th) it was satisfying and inexpensive.
Our next stop was the Credit Union. Though we were there just yesterday I forgot to get some extra Cash to have, in case Interact was not working, or for special expenses. We were shocked when we pulled into their empty parking lot on a Tuesday. I tried the door just in case, On the evening News we were reminded that this was "The Day Of Reconciliation" for the horrific ways the North American Aboriginals were treated during the colonization of the New World.
With recent Road Construction, engineering determined that it was a wise thing to sever a thoroughfare that was in use when my parents were born. Today, I experimented with other routes that both involved Highways. They were both quicker than the Alternative Route the City has posted.
We arrived at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594 shortly before 3:00. We are sometimes busier that what is written in the Blog, so today I was there to pay my Yearly Dues. Recently to cut costs of having staff in the Office fulltime, everyone now has to pay at the Bar, which was perfect, because I was able to use my Debit Card for the transaction.
With more errands to do, we did not even stay for a drink but headed off to explore our second option of traveling to the Legion.
Yesterday
when we were restocking our food supplies, we did not have a Grocery
List.
The reason for that was because, we needed everything. Just walking
down aisles and grabbing what you feel you need is not aways the best
way to shop, because things get missed. Today we stopped again at the
Dollarama
closest our building to rectify our shortfalls and maybe a few snacks
as well.
It was already past 5:00 after we checked out and we were starting to feel hungry. Right across the parking lot was a Mary Brown's outlet (Canadian Brand). There was something for whatever you felt like having.
It was 5:40 when we parked back at our building. Unlike yesterday we easily carried our purchases upstairs by hand.
With
everything put away, we later watched a "Murder
Mystery",
"High
Potential"
and no Local
News.
All because of "The
Day Of Reconciliation".
The
"National
News"
showed Donald Trump again threatening more Tariffs
on Canadian products. He then started saying Canada
should becime the 51st
State.

Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible, it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment and offer you more joy than any material possession could.
