I was tired enough after posting our Blog last night that I was in bed before 11:30. I was wide awake and looking at the Clock was 6:55. The first thing I did was to open the Balcony Door which let some refreshing 55 F (13 C) air fill the Apartment. After getting everything ready for breakfast I had barely turned on the Computers when Kathy joined me. It seems the Fresh Air woke her up.
We were sitting at our Computers with our Coffee/Tea by 7:30 which allowed us to get all our morning reading done early. With the other morning chores finished I was able to start exercising by 10:00 while Kathy went back to critique the Linen Closet. We both finished around the same time.
Once I’d cleaned up slightly Kathy had me finely chopping Celery, Onions and Tomatoes to add to the Caesars Salad she had already made. While I mixed it all together and added shredded Tex-Mex Cheese Kathy was busy reheating the last of the Pulled Pork from the other night along with making a dessert plate of Oranges, Cookies and Yogurt Cups. After cleaning up we felt stuffed but it tasted so good.

Feeling a little sticky from the workout I got a quick shower before we got ready to head out the door.

Our first destination was Guardian Storage where after checking for Mail we headed back to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. We’ve mentioned that we’ve been trying to downsize our belongings and Kathy found out that our daughter-in-law Jen needed a Storage Cabinet. Since it was near the front of our Unit it was tied to the back of the Truck in less then Ten Minutes.

Our next stop was Jen’s house in Essex. It was during this drive we realized we forgot the Camera at the Apartment.

We got the chance to see our grandsons Haigan and Connor along with Jen as we had a short visit outside since the temperature reached 66 F (19 C). Jen loved the Plastic Cabinet and told us she’ll be using it for additional Pantry Space. It was light enough I just put it inside the door and the boys will be able to move it for their mom. It felt strange doing Elbow Bumps instead of Hugs but we’ll keep hoping that this all passes soon.

On the way back to the Apartment we stopped at Canadian Tire to get a larger bag of Potting Soil. We located what we needed but were told we had to pay for it in the Garden Center. To get to the Garden Center you needed to enter through the Store. To enter the Store you had to get in the line of at least Fifty Social Distancing People and wait your turn. We’ll try somewhere else for the Potting Soil.
Back at the Apartment we had Backed Beans on Toast for supper. We barely finished eating before the 6 o’clock Local News came on. With a low of 43 F (6 C) tonight we’ll be closing the Windows and shutting the Fans.

While Kathy watched a movie on the Television I worked from the table doing up our Pill Doucettes. Because of the limited space it took longer then I expected to do up our Medications and Vitamins for the next Thirty Days.

We then watched a Mystery Movie to finish off the night. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Sounds like a good day in your neighbourhood. Too bad you couldn't pay at the Garden Centre. Both my Foodland and Independent stores do that now but I don't know about garden centres here. I can't believe the line ups are still so long!
