One Errand, Two Visits and A Bad Forecast.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Even though we both took a Tylenol before going to bed last night it felt great sleeping in until 8:00 this morning. We managed to get another night where we had the Windows open with just the slightest breeze blowing through.

As soon as our lite breakfast was over we started with the Eyedrops not just for myself but for Kathy as well. On the recommendation from our Optometrist he said by keeping her eye moist there was less chance that the Floater could cause any harm so we’ll continue this a couple times a day until Kathy sees him again at the end of the month.

The first thing I looked at on the Computer was The Weather Network which showed mostly sunny skies for the entire day and only feeling like 102 F (39 C). After making a call to our Pharmacist in Amherstburg about picking up One of the Eyedrops we were running low on we turned on the AC and started closing the Windows. We then had an early lunch of a slice of Pizza each to tied us over for the afternoon.
Must have been Fifty Golf Carts or more ready to hit the links at noon.
We arrived at Pharma Choice drug store just before 12:30 to get the Eyedrops. Saturday they are only open until 1:00 and closed Sundays and Holidays.

Since we did our shopping yesterday we decided to just stop and say “Hello” with Kevin and Melissa. Melissa was busy doing the laundry while Kevin was out in the garage working on his 29 Ford Street Rod. This is a project that will take some time because it is his first time doing one and he has other things that also need his attention. Even though he is doing a great job, I tried to pass on some Metal Working Tips that might make his project go easier. We only stayed about a Half Hour before saying our Good-Byes. Melissa sent more Tomatoes from their garden Home with us. I see more Tomato Sandwiches and Soup in the next couple of days.

It was just after 1:00 so we stopped at our friends Gerry and Sandy for a short visit. Their puppy Star was the first one to let them know someone was there and she let us know she was in charge before letting us give her some ear scratches to show we were friends. They haven’t gone too far with their Trailer this year but are looking forward to future travels. They also spoke of about The Beach House Restaurant in Kingsville that they found very nice. We’ll be getting together to try it out before we head south.

It was just after 3:00 when we got back Home and settled in on the Computers to catch up on our morning reading. An Hour later it seemed to be getting dark outside and then I could hear the sound of Distant Thunder. I went back to The Weather Network and they were still showing only a 10% Possibility of Precipitation but when I saw the Radar it showed we were going to get hit soon. It went between a Lite Rain to Heavy Downpours for nearly an Hour before ending. Good thing this morning’s forecast didn’t show a storm heading our way.
My supper on the left, Kathy's on the right.
For supper Kathy decided to clean up Leftovers from the Fridge. We shared the Leftover Tomato Cheddar Soup. Kathy had the Leftover Chicken in a Salad Wrap. I finished the Leftover Pizza from last night and we had the Leftover Raspberry French Pastry for dessert. Lots more room in our Fridge now.

After getting the dishes cleaned and put away we sat down to watch the movie “Analyze This” with Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal. Neither of us ever saw it before but it kept us laughing.

With the next Four Days forecasted to feel above the Century Mark we’ll have to think of something to do. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
