Balancing The Numbers, Cold Humid Air and The Serpent’s Kiss.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Before going to sleep last night, we were starting to feel chilled due to the high Humidity in the air, so when it came time to turn down the bed I left the Bedcover on. Since we still have the lite summer sheets on the bed they don’t keep you very warm. Kathy was leery of it at first but when she got up this morning she was glad I’d done so.

We needed our Housecoats to keep from shivering for breakfast and we got dressed in Long Pants and Sweaters before doing our reading. It was a Two Cup morning at the Computers just trying to get the chill out of our bodies. The Inside Thermometer and The Weather Network both said it was 59 F (15 C) but with the 35 MPH Wind Gusts from the North-East it felt much colder.
Windy this morning.
After completing my morning reading I had to resolve a balancing issue on one of my Spreadsheets. Since we first started writing “It’s about time” nearly Seven Years ago I have kept track of our readership on a Spreadsheet because Blogger was messing things up at the time. I also have noted the readership for the top Three Days and top Three Months. Somehow the overall number was not coming out the same so with the weather the way it was outside I started checking totals Month for Month. I found a mistake, corrected it and found that the same numbers still are Nine apart. That’s right two Computer Generated Sums are different. At least it’s closer but I’ll find out which one is right.

For lunch we had Chicken and Salad along with a hot Coffee/Tea to warm us up. We got to the point where we were ready to put on Coats to keep comfortable. In Ontario we are not allowed to use Catalytic Heaters in an RV due to the potential of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. In Ontario they count Blue Flame Heaters in the same category so when we needed to empty the Trailer of all our personal affects this spring I shut the Valve at the Manifold under the Trailer. I also removed the Valve Handle and drained the line of Propane. Even with it drizzling outside I lay under the Trailer and reconnected our Propane Line. I got back inside just in time because it started to Rain at a steady pace but with the Blowing Wind I would have been drenched for certain. It took nearly Ten Minutes holding the Pilot Button before we could turn on our Blue Flame Heater.
I just got inside the door and the Rain started.
We watched another movie from that package of eight called “The Serpent’s Kiss”. Based in the 17th Century it depicted how the Elite tried to flaunt their wealth and how others tried to cheat it away from them.

For supper we had Chicken Noodle Soup along with a Cheese Stick.

Even though we were feeling much more comfortable with our Blue Flame Heater going inside the Wind was still battering the Trailer on the outside. We later needed a Snack and shared a Peanut Butter and Jam Sandwich to go with our Hot Chocolates to warm us up. The Heater dried out the air so much when the Kettle started to boil it looked like we had Fog Machine going inside.

It’s amazing we are feeling near winter temperatures now when we are looking at near Century Mark temperatures later this week. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
