Severe Wind Conditions And Making Progress.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

This is really getting strange! It seems that since we’ve gotten our new pillows and bedcover I have been sleeping so soundly through the night that I’m waking up totally refreshed at a much earlier hour of the morning. Unfortunately that can also have an adverse effect. After laying in bed for nearly an hour I finally got up before 6:30 because my back was telling me to. The adverse effect was that Kathy noted my absence and came to join me at her computer shortly after 7:00.

We did finish our morning reading before having breakfast but it has been a difficult day talking inside the apartment. There was no medical excuse for it but there was a meteorological one. The wind in our area was blowing in from the south at 35 mph with gusts up to 58 mph. Even though the building is structurally sound the windows were rattling in their frames so loudly that it was sometimes hard to make out what we were saying to one another at times. The wind was also making the 50 F (10 C) feel like 41 F (5 C).

I finally got a chance to talk with my aunt Anna this morning to confirm that she and my uncle Bob will be coming to our area for the Christmas Holiday Season. She was telling me how Bob now has to use oxygen permanently because of his past exposure to chemicals while he was still working. I also told her of our plans to go Fulltime next year. To say that she was surprised is putting it lightly.

After lunch Kathy had a Snap in the living room recliner to make up for her getting out of bed so early. I spent nearly two hours on the computer trying to fix the Bad Request 400 Error on our blog. I ran additional scans and rebooted the computer again with no luck. Unfortunately we still have the same problem as to not being able to post pictures to our blog.

I relieved my disappointment with the computer by finally getting the Solar Panel Tilt System assembled. Even Kathy is happy that not only that it’s finished but by the way it works. She made a wonderful Lasagna dish for supper and there’s more for another meal as well.

The wind is still rattling our windows as of this writing. This is definitely a day we are happy that we weren’t outside or living in our trailer. Tomorrow we have a bunch of appointments and errands to run but it all adds up to getting ready to go Fulltiming. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. We love the dual pane windows in our coach, no noise and no rattling, much nicer that in our house that we had.

  2. My goodness I hope the apartment building pays for the heat of your apartment. Wondering is they are aware how badly the windows rattle in the wind???

  3. When the wind is blowing in our RV, we just turn into it. Of course, it's got to be a bad wind and we certainly don't want to be on the road then. At least in an apartment, you don't have so much to deal with - thank goodness for that!

  4. It sounds like you have done everything to remedy the Bad Request 400 Error. I can't image what it might be. Hope something pops up on the Internet that will help you with this issue.
