Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Yesterday while we were out shopping at JYSK Kathy and I purchased these gel type
pillows that are advertised to take the heat your body produces away from your
head thus allowing you to sleep better. Strangely we both slept fairly well and
Kathy didn’t have the neck ache that she has been waking up with recently. We slept
well enough that we were both up before 7:00 this morning and spent time at the
computers before having breakfast. We accomplished a number of things around
the apartment that will help make going Fulltime
next spring so much easier.
After lunch Kathy set herself up on the dining room table
where she managed to wrap the gifts that we purchased yesterday helping her to feel more at ease
that she is nearing the end of her shopping. Her plans for next year will take
a drastic change which means that she won’t have to figure out what she plans
to buy for everyone. Besides living in our trailer we won’t have the room to
store gifts
like we do in the apartment. Another thing that will happen next year is that
like many other Canadian snowbirds that head south for the winter we’ll be
celebrating our Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families at the same time. Once
that is done we’ll be make tracks south before the ground starts turning white.
Since I needed to cut metal to repair a drawer and aluminum
for the solar panels and I didn’t want to take the chance that some of those filings
would spread off the tarp I often us in the living room or on the balcony. Instead
I hauled my tools and the materials out to the truck in the parking lot. Using my
portable workbench and the truck’s tailgate to help support the varying lengths
of material I was able to cut all the pieces I needed using a hacksaw. All the
saw filings simply landed in the grass which will only add to the protein in
the ground. Kathy called me in for supper so I still have to bevel some of the
pieces making them safer in the assembled state.
After enjoying a pizza grilled on our Weber Q for supper we
drove back to Sears to return some items of clothing Kathy had ordered online. The
picture and the description of the articles were not what was delivered. On the
way home we made two more stops which yielded more gifts that were scratched off our shopping list.
Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

You two are putting us to shame. I haven't even thought about Christmas gifts yet.
ReplyDeleteHi, I have been finally catching up on my reading. What an exciting time for the two of you. I wish we could say we will be fulltiming next year. Tom and I have been slowly going through "stuff" some is in storage some waiting for our kids to go through it. The hope is to put our house up for sale by June and have it pretty much empty by fall or before.
ReplyDeleteWishing you only good luck with your plan. Hope to meet you down the road somewhere.
Celebrating the Dance
We have those kind of pillows. They are OK, but I do not see the cooling part.
